10/10At Villa Borghese the service, atmosphere and for sure the food is always good, it is not a Michelin star restaurant but I get the Italian quality and taste, beautiful, we try to come with the family at least once every month, compliments to the staff!

7.5/10Our first Waiter was not very helpful. Asked for a Mocktail for a kid and he brought them 0% beer. We were not aware that it was beer. I don’t think he understood what is a cocktail! Another Waiter dropped a glass and beer over my kid too. Was a bit of a disaster! And this was for a special birthday celebration. Eventually we had another waiter that salvaged the evening. Food was good though.

4.5/10We always go to Villa borghese in the summer terras. This time we decided to celebrate the anniversary and it took 1 hour and 15 min waiting between the antipasto and the main dish. I have asked 3 times to the waiter how long I had to wait and noone came back to give and answer till the last time when I stand up and asked the manager. They did not give clear informaiton, they did not apologise, we even to pay for extra bread while we were waiting so long. Noone came to ask if we want order additional drinks for 1 hour. The service was relly bad.

7.5/10In general everything was fine! One minor annoyance was a friendly waitress who had to be asked 2 times and them one more staff member to get another drink. The reason it annoyed me was: 1. that to my opinion ordering once should have been enough 2. and serving it quickly whilst I was still having my dinner should be something obvious. Drinks are separated from the kitchen and can be prepared quickly and served fast. It’s the money maker for the restaurant in terms of margin… but nobody of the staff paid attention to the glasses and/or offered another drink. I guess business is going really well at this place.

8/10This was our first visit to VB for many years. Reason-quality had deteriated significantly. This time we were very pleased with our visit yesterday; -very pleasant and young staff led by the very friendly manager? from Calabria -food also very good except that the taste of the ravioli made at table (in cheese ) was too strong and my wife left most of it. Mr Calabria expressed his apologies, explained why and offered us a glass of limoncello to compensate. We will return!

10/10Nice and cozy restaurant in the picturesque old centrum of Amstelveen. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing, and the staff are very polite. All this is topped with a great choice of tasty dishes of exquisite quality.

8/10This was our first time at the restaurant and it was very nice, the tables are laid out so you do not get too close to the next table. The restaurant was busy but not noisy, the food was good and served quickly. The staff were friendly and quick to respond to requests. The menu was quite extensive compared to other Italian restaurants I have been to. Overall I would recommend this restaurant.

10/10Appears to be a well run restaurant run by Italians with genuine Italian food. Generous portions, very fresh food. A limited but varied wine list of good quality. Caters very well fir large groups. A big plus for me, linen tablecloths and serviettes. A lively evening with our friends.

8.5/10This place has improved tremendously since we were here many years ago. Service is excellent and the food is quite good. Nice selection of wines at reasonable prices. Very spacious, accommodating large groups easily in three different environments. We will return regularly.
