We booked far in advance because we heard by word of mouth that it was a place worth trying. The service was a mess, orders forgotten - appetizers and main courses coming at random times .. it took forever. We wanted to order dessert but opted to go somewhere else .. it was just no longer bearable. The staff seems nice, but just terribly unorganized. The food was lovely, the vongole a bit mediocre.

A quiet lunch time afforded us the opportunity to speak with the team at the restaurant who really helped us decide how to narrow down so many lovely choices! We will be back! And of course, the food absolutely delivered. Excellent chef!

A beautiful gem tucked away in the hills of Pistoia. The panorama from the terrace is breathtaking and the imaginative chef does wonders with local dishes. A must worth a detour on the Fi-Pisa line
