The first thing to strike me was the numulti-levelled space dividing the entrance, bar and restaurant areas. The next was with original furniture and decor giving off a barber shop/ theatre/ country house feel. The staff was courteous, relaxed/ no stress approach (perfect for an end of the working week unwind dinner). The service was relatively fast without rushing us. The food we chose was tasty, despite both the cold slices plate and steak being a little colder than expected (though succulent). We were happy with the zucchini flowers stuffed with warm cheese and escargots (nicely seasoned with herbs). We did not sample the desserts. The wine list was rich with well selected choices. I later noticed also some pleasant background music playing (was not too loud). The only slight disappointment was that we picked out this restaurant for its “French Cuisine” but found only a relatively small part of the menu to reflect this.
