Even though there were only two tables, it took over 30 mins to serve us — and we specifically avoided the dishes that were marked with 20-30 minutes prep time. We were 5 people, two of our dishes—the steak and the pig cheek—were quite good, but the hamburger tasted weird, and the fish and pasta were underwhelming. Nothing wrong with anything, but we expected much better for the price.

The restaurant was very tastefully decorated with an amazing view of the Batalha monastery. The food was some of the best in Leiria. We had the shrimp, sea bass, and black pork, and finished with passion fruit crème brûlée. We will definitely be back.

The menu was a nice mix of traditional Portuguese and more (foreign) family-friendly dishes. Our plates were well prepared and presented. The service was a bit wanting, but I believe they were understaffed for the number of patrons.

The view from the terrace on the monastery cathedral is amazing. The food was classic the mushroom starter was very good. The staff is friendly and all covid measures are met.

Nice restaurant with a great view on the monastery. Food was very tasty and service was attentive and efficient. Great value for money for a meal before or after visiting the monastery (since it takes approximately 30 seconds to get from the restaurant to the monastery entrance).
