Quality, consistency, and a genuinely warm welcome. We have been going to Viola as long as they have been open, perhaps 20 years or so. It never disappoints. The prices are very fair for the level of excellence. It is intimate and comfortable. We recommend it to all of our discerning friends.

We have been loyal clients of Viola every since they opened, several decades ago. The dining is always excellent, the atmosphere sophisticated and tranquil. We are always confident that we will have a memorable meal and that our presence is appreciated.

The fish was unfortunarely not good at all. Nice atmosphere who makes you expecting excellent food. But I would not recommend this restaurant. There are many better ones.

We had a great dinner at Viola. The food was excellent and in particular, the eggplant parmigiana (an appetizer) was the best that my wife has ever had in over 50 years and she loves the dish and has eaten a lot of eggplant parmigiana during that period. The owner told us that the recipe for the eggplant parmigiana came from his mother. He was very attentive. I strongly recommend the restaurant.

We have been enjoying Viola for some 20 years. This trip, we even tried some dishes we had not sampled before. Quality, consistency, pampering comfort, this little restaurant is a local gem. The repertoire includes but goes beyond Ligurian specialties. A well crated wine list adds to the enjoyment.

Viola continues to be one of our favorites restaurants. The cooking is always precise , attractive and sarisfting. The venue is cozy and welcoming. The wine list is well crafted. We are spoiled. We often go for lunch when there are very few people there. Sunday evening was quite a bit busier. Still, the service was handled with grace and poise. You just have to be a little more patient.

We have been enjoying Viola ever since it opend more than 20 years ago. Consistent quality, gracious service, premium wines, the peaceful and intimate atmosphere all contribute to a reliable and enjoyable meal. They have many dishes that are exemplars, that for us nearly define their essence.

Viola is a small, intimate restaurant that we have been enjoying for over a decade, ever since it opened. While the menu is somewhat fixed, they are responsive to requests for something off the menu when given sufficient advance notice. All of the regular menu items are well crafted, but we enjoy the occasional alternative, such as a superb bagna cauda. There is a very nice wine list and fair prices for the quality of ingredients and cooking.

Intimate, chic, welcoming. Viola has provided us with high quality, distinctive meals for several decades, ever since they opened. The menu is brief, but every dish is perfectly executed. Prices are fair for the high quality ingredients and capable kitchen. Unless he is on assignment elsewhere, Mr. Viola will be there assuring you are treated like VIPs.

Viola never disappoints. It is a very intimate restaurant. The menu reflects many things they do extremely well. The wine list is masterful. If you are a loyal customer, and asks politely, they may offer something not on the menu, like the brilliant bagna cauda which we had today. It is a lovely quiet venue in which to enjoy a memorable meal.

We have been enjoying Viola for many years. The restaurant is consistently excellent, ,welcoming, and fair value for high end dining. There are usually a few seasonal variations, but a solid and regular repetoire. A well crafted wine list adds to the enjoyment.

We have been enjoying Viola ever since it opened (close to 20 years?}. It is the most consistent quality restaurant in town. The menu is fairly brief, but everything is presented with great style, quality and excellent taste. In short, you are guaranteed a delightful meal here. The wine list is extensive, Mr. Viola is charming, kind and active host. While we love Ligurian cuisine, Viola's repertoire goes beyond the typical local menus.

Meal after meal, year after year, Viola is in our opinion one of the two best restaurants in Alassio. It is the first place we think of to celebrate important milestones and also where we go when we are just ready for a very fine dinner or lunch. Prices are very fair for the level of quality.
