This is one of our favorite restaurants, so we go several times when we are in Rome. It was extra special this evening because our favorite waiter, Silvano, was there to greet us and take care of us. This is just one of those restaurants that has a wonderful feel about it – open yet warm – soft music and lighting – tables nicely spaced. Their menu has something for everyone. My husband enjoyed a glass of pinot grigio to start and then a glass of red wine to compliment of his dinner, which was the Fettucine al Ragu. I had the Ravioli Ripieni di Ricotta Spincaci con Salsa di Burro e Salvia. Virginiae delivers an unforgettable dining experience, and we cannot wait to return in September to enjoy another fine meal.

Another marvelous evening at Virginiae. An elegant ristorante in the city center, we always enjoy our dining experience. Portions are extremely large. We split an oxtail pasta and had two main courses with a green salad. It was delicious but we could only get thru half of it. Appreciation to Silvano for excellent service. Everyone was friendly and professional. We will definitely return.

Great food in a very nice atmosphere. Our server Helmat was very gracious and made our time very enjoyable. Excellent pasta dishes and the tiramisu was the best we’ve had so far in Italy.

We have had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant every time we are in Rome. Heman was our server and did a great job of taking care .We wanted to introduce a new friend of ours to Virginae. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance. We had made a reservation on The Fork for 7:30 PM, and they had a table ready for us when we arrived. We had a lovely, quiet corner table. What is so nice about dining in Italy is that you are never rushed. We proceeded to have the most leisurely dinner. Our friend started with a glass of Prosecco. My husband ordered a bottle of red wine to complement our dinners. We enjoyed the following for our entrees: Fettucine al Ragu, Mezze Pacchieri alla Gricia, and Saltimbocca alla Romana. Oh my, we were all thrilled with our dinners. Heman gave us the time to sit and chat without interruption, which we so appreciated. We all thoroughly enjoyed dining at Virginiae and will be back soon.

Fantastic and friendly service and best meal we have had in Italy! Kids loved the lasagna and meatballs. My ravioli was fantastic! I have had pasta in multiple restaurants but this was by far the best. Husband really enjoyed the veal shank as well.

We had an incredible dinner with my family in one of the most magnificent and vibrant places in Italy, with a wonderful ambiance, outstandingly delicious food, and an excellent team. We all had an extremely enjoyable and happy time. The prices aren’t cheap, but it’s absolutely worth every penny!

Absolutely wonderful dining experience! Food was outstanding in a lovely setting. Both waiters were delightful and very professional. Quite reasonable given the high quality of the restaurant. The location near Piazza Navona is an additional benefit.

Everyone else in the restaurant got bread with olive oil & vinegar- we did not. Our server had a huge table next to us and we were totally ignored. Food came out VERY slow. Got main meal 1st, then the salad an hour later

The atmosphere was so friendly. Silvano made us feel at ease and at home. In addition to excellent service the food was amazing! We had potato gnocchi with red sauce, cacio de Pepe and lasagna, each one a mouth watering dish. Highly recommend Ristorante Virginiae

Our service was by far the best of our trip so far. They are very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, too! We tried the gnocchi, chicken Roman style, and ravioli with sage. The prosciutto and melon were also fresh and delicious. We hope to return here someday!

Food and service were both fantastic. Booked via the fork. Have a serious nut allergy but left a note detailing this on the booking and the restaurant and Silvano, our waiter, made sure all food was safe. Ravioli and ragu were sublime.

The food! It was so good. I am not someone who wants a lot of frills. I want to sit down and eat a delicious meal and not be bothered by non-value adding BS like you find in restaurants near the tourist traps. This food was out of this world amazing. Service was excellent! There is nothing negative to be said!
