The people were very welcoming and the place was gorgeous. The food was delicious. It wasn’t touristy and the prices were great! Make a reservation. You’ll thank me later.

Food was average for Italian cuisine in the area, the service was absolutely horrible as the one waiter was completely overwhelmed, couldn’t keep up, took our salt and pepper from our table while we were eating to give to another table when we weren’t done using it. Had to ask for olive oil to dress our salad and then never explained after delivering the check that we had to physically get up and pay the bill at the front of the restaurant … so waited for 15 mins thinking he would eventually come back with the machine to pay by credit card. But ultimately, we were duped by Instagram thinking this is going to be an excellent meal… And it was average at best.

We booked upfront with a discount for our time. The restaurant is located a bit aside from the main streets. The ambience is great, lights, decorations, open kitchen. Very nice service. The pasta arrived first and the pinsa was late few minutes. The prices are average for such place. The food was tasty, ok, but not really special, some tastes were not optimally balanced.

Everything about the restaurant was great! The food was delicious, the staff was fantastic and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We'll go back again.

+4Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. It has been the best food we have had in Rome! Cacio de pepe, lasagne, osso bucco, pistachio tiramisu - so delicious. We are planning to come back for our last dinner.

We were recognized as returning customers and service was prompt and friendly. Nonna’s lasagna was delicious. The saltimbocca was also excellent. We had the fried anchovies for a starter and they disappeared quickly. Well curated wine listSuper reasonable given the high quality. We recommend highly.

A small restaurant that includes a large outdoor patio. Service was friendly and efficient. A great wine list and delicious food. We’re going back tonight for a repeat visit.

The focaccia was the best I have ever tried, the bruschetta & mozzarella with prosciutto was also delicious. The meatball main course was ok, my daughter had spaghetti carbonara and it was the best she had had. The setting was very idyllic & pleasant. We left scratching our heads as to why there were hardly any customers! Great restaurants - needs more customers to avoid going out of business! Thank you to the staff for a great evening.

We arrived, were seated right away and given a glass of prosecco! We ordered some caprese and focaccia, OMG! the focaccia was amazing! Buttery, fluffy, Soo good! We ordered veal scaloppine and risotto. Both were very good! Definitely best meal we have had in Rome so far! Great good and wonderful service!

The complete experience, from the way the restaurant itself is tucked away in it's own tiny piazza, beautifully decorated inside and out to the warm, friendly attention paid to us by all the staff made this an unforgettable night!! I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough!!

An excellent restaurant with a quaint setting. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The “secondi” comes with the vegetables included so you do not have to order them separately. The beef fillet was delicious.

Service was great. Food was disappointing. Mostly lacking flavor. Cacio e pepe was drowning in cream. 2 veal dishes were badly in need of salt. Fried anchovies looked like they were from a frozen box. Overall, would not go back.

+4We discovered this gem of a restaurant during our first trip to Rome in November 2024. Vitti Osteria & Cantina was such a wonderful and memorable dining experience that we booked another dinner here during our one night in Rome in March 2025. Our son joined us for our second trip to Italy, and we wanted him to experience this lovely place. The proprietor remembered us and gave us a complimentary champagne toast. The service is wonderful and welcoming, the food delicious and authentic, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. The prices are very reasonable as well. We sat at our favorite table in the kitchen and felt like we were dining at a friend's house. After the meal, we enjoyed some limoncello provided by the kind proprietor who would visit our table throughout our meal to chat with us. Vitti Osteria is an absolutely lovely place! I HIGHLY recommend!
