The menu was extremely creative and was a fantastic pleasure to try everything the chef made. It was hands down the best meal in Rome! I wish we went there sooner and tried more food! My friend and I had the ragu with beef cheek, tiramisu and mushroom chocolate (not actually mushroom but chocolate shaped like mushroom). The quality is superb. If you can, make the way over and try out this restaurant you will NOT regret it!

I really wish I could give them excellent ratings but although the maitre’d was charming and helpful, the waiter was on his first day. The chef was slightly boggled down so food was taking a long time to deliver. The starter was amazing, but the pasta course was slightly less then al dente and saltier than necessary. My husband’s pasta was super sweet so that didn’t go over well. It took forever to get our main course because the chef was called out for a 15 minute discussion on how much the table next to us loved his food! As a result, our food was delayed so he could send out a gratis dessert to that same table! We really loved this restaurant last year when we dined here but maybe the pandemic did something to the lack of staff and quickness of service. It was disappointing. The main course was excellent but delayed, so I can’t really give the place excellent marks. So sad. . . we will try them again the next time we are in Rome with our fingers crossed.

This was one of the best meals we have had! We were treated to an amuse bouche (not sure what that is in Italian) of creamed chickpeas, shared plates of Roman-style artichokes, Pappardalle with beef ragout and dried raspberries, charred octopus with sweet potatoes, and ended with a sweet “mushroom”! Divine! Lovely restaurant, and we met the chef to extend our compliments.

The food was great, and the waiter was making an excellent effort. However, several wines on the menu were either sold out or had only one or two bottles left. The waitress should have informed us. This would have resulted in an even better review. Definitely worthwhile to come back, but check on the availability of the wines!

I am not sure how to write this review, the ambiance was nice, the server was excellent, the appetizer - a zucchini flower in tempura was fabulous. My beef cheeks entree was orgasmic. However, my husband’s rigatoni was really under cooked and if only the chef would admitted to that ……

Great food, very pleasant ambience, not too expensive! We’ve been before back in 2006! Maybe under different name. Menu should have couple more seafood dishes. I will definitely recommend it to gourmet food lovers.

Viva is great! A nice warm welcome set the tone. Staff were knowledgeable about the menu and matching wine and provided professional unobtrusive service. The food was excellent with unusual combinations which worked well. We had the poached egg and the square spaghetti followed by the sea bass and rounded off with tiramisu and caramel tart. Would recommend all of these dishes.

This was a really great last minute find! Strangely the restaurant was almost empty. I have to say that the food and service exceeded my expectations. The oysters were fresh, pasta dish was perfectly cooked, and fowl breast was one of the best I've had.

Very fresh and expertly prepared seafood. Especially enjoyed the tuna tartar, oysters, and roasted calamari. Extensive wine selection. Lovely ambiance both indoors and outdoors. Attentive and knowledgeable servers.

The raw fish were all quite fresh but the flavors were not well balanced. The pistachio pasta sauce was too heavy, especially when paired with raw red shrimp. A simpler, tomato based one may be better.

로마에서 처음 식사 였어요. 묵는 호텔 근처라 별 기대없이 갔는데 웬걸.. 호강하고 왔어요 맛은 간도 적당하고 까르보나라 치즈와 짭조롬하고 바삭한 베이컨(?) 의 조합과 문어 ㅠㅠ 겉바속촉과 한국인입맛에 맞는 식감.. 크 그리고 식전빵은 따뜻하면 더 맛있겠지만 올리브오일…이랑 진짜 죽임 ㅠㅠ 이탈리아에사 첫식사를 기분좋게 마쳐서 다음 식사도 기대되네요~

The service, drinks, and food were excellent. We couldn't have wished for a more perfect last evening of Roman dining. Every drink, glass of wine, and dish was delicious, an imaginative and yummy way of mixing flavors. We were so pleased to have eaten there and been served by Chiara, and her colleagues. Mille grazie

The food was okay. The portions were small, which is fine, but the price was steep. Didn’t make for a good gourmet experience especially because we ate at cheaper places in Rome that were of better quality. The ambience was excellent.

The food and experience was amazing. We had the trio of raw fish and zucchini flowers to start, which were both exquisite. This was followed by the smoked tuna under glass bell - a special they were doing. Everything was balanced and tasty.
