Uninspired food, with lack of flavor overall. Didn’t felt like a good price-quality ratio.

Unfortunately, my experience at Vivant was very disappointing. The meal was far below expectations for a restaurant of this level. The fries came with what looked like a “kidnap” inside – completely unacceptable. The meat was average to good, but certainly nothing memorable. To make things worse, most of the wines listed on the menu were not actually available, which is quite frustrating when you expect proper pairing options. After pointing these issues out, they removed the €6 charge for the fries from the bill — but when you’re spending around €200, this “gesture” feels like a joke. It shows a lack of seriousness in handling such a problem. Overall, for this type of establishment, the combination of average food, unavailable wines, poor service, and a dismissive attitude made it a very underwhelming experience. Sadly, not a place I would recommend or return to.

Bad food, bad service. It’s all about the dance floor. It should not be a restaurant, just a disco club.

it's end of the season so the restaurant was pretty dead. We last ate here about a year ago and I would say it was equally as good as before. Nothing to fault, very high quality. Definitely recommend for next June on.

The food was fantastic, great drinks and lovely setting. Strange one, but my only issue was that the service was a bit too attentive, we were constantly being asked what we thought of the food and if we needed anything else, it interrupted the flow of the evening as our conversation was constantly being interrupted. Really lovely staff, they just need to back off a little and let people enjoy the experience without constantly asking if they’re enjoying it.

The location within the restaurant is really good - lots of space and areas to sit and enjoy a preprandial drink. The music artists were very good - in fact the best we have encountered over the years in restaurants in the area. The wine list was limited but reasonably priced - particularly the house varieties. Whilst the food menu reads well and is reasonably priced it is not exciting. The staff were most helpful and pleasant even if a little too interested in “how our meal” was! Can’t fault enthusiasm though. The restaurant would be a great location for a group of people to get together in. All in all a restaurant well worth visiting to experience its interesting interior and location.

It was fabulous: service, staff ,food. The music was astonishing and the singer has a super voice. We will recommend it deeply . It was a great night!!!!!!

Explanation of the menu was complicated; the dishes were an unusual composition; the restaurant area was cold despite there being an AC unit operating; maybe a place for the summer

It‘s a fantastic experience. Dishes are supposed to be shared which is an opportunity to taste different ones. Excellent quality and outstanding service. We were lucky to enjoy live music. Vivant has a spectacular outside area and lounge which will be stunning in summer. We enjoyed every minute

Top restaurant, good food, super nice atmosphere. Nice life music in a beautiful setting outside. The restaurant looks inside also good. Definitely a restaurant to visit when in the Algarve!

Vivant is a fabulous restaurant. The food is wonderful, beautifully prepared and presented with real passion. The menu is diverse & there are some delicious specialities. Service is extremely good and the attention to detail is noticeable. I would definitely go here again.

So…… Vivant has done a great job on the fitout and look of the restaurant. Although the large dance floor and bar area is clearly for weddings and busy evenings. I think the menu is a little confused. We were told it was all sharing plates including the mains. This worked ok for the ‘ social ‘ starters but less well for the burger cut into four and the chicken and chips was not a sharing dish. The other starters were excellent although the prawns were not fresh. I think the menu and venue has an identity crisis. Is it a quality restaurant or a place for cocktails ( which were excellent) and dancing. Finally having paid the bill I was presented with a new bill with an additional bottle of wine we did not have. It was all sorted but an odd mistake given there were only 6 tables that night. Will probably return but not for a while.

Loving this spot that is such a welcome surprise to the neighborhood. Everything is delicious and staff are fantastic.

What a surprise awaits all first time visitors. Amazing rear terrace with a fantastic vibe too. What a great place to unwind after a busy day doing - nothing. Must visit for a beer, cocktail or fabulous food. The cheese churros are to die for.

From the first welcome to the last good bye, Vivant doesn't disappoint. Fabulous food and a really good vibe make this my go to place for a casual drink or a big night out. Obrigada

Everything was quite lovely except for the choice of music that the DJ chose to play. It was not dinner music by any means. We did mention it and the staff readily agreed and stated that it was his first night. Hopefully, they will make changes to his selections.

Great ambience more suited to adults. Service was excellent and food good value. Lots of space and music added to the experience. Well worth a visit

I have already booked my return visit as the whole experience was so good. We were seated outside in a beautiful wooden area with gorgeous plants and a central bar area. There was live music which was not intrusive and added to the experience. The food was delicious with a thoughtful and varied menu, we loved sharing the dishes and it was a breath of fresh air to be presented with an exciting range that was anything but ‘run of the mill’. I could not recommend it highly enough.

The renovated restaurant is excellent both in layout and lighting. Would have given it a 5 star review on our previous visit and felt the restaurant showed a lot of promise. This time however, they had several new members of staff who were trying hard but required more supervision. The cover for four people did not come with sufficient butter etc - surprised that an additional charge was made for 2 more small pats of butter.
