10/10The restaurant is spacious, calm and relaxed with a pleasant aspect over the promenade to the sea. Although tables at the window are not for shrinking violets! The service is charming and efficient. The somellier really knows her stuff and is most knowledgeable and enthusiastic regarding her wine list. We enjoyed the 6 tasting menu very much - intricate, well constructed and tasty to the last morsel.

We chose to do one of the preset menus and drink pairings. The food selections from the kitchen and the wine pairings recommended by the staff were PERFECT! Wrap all that in a view that you cannot see anywhere else and you will see why this Michelin rated restaurant is a MUST if you are able to go.

Wonderful seafood. Original and refined short tasting menu- with the right quantity of delicious food. The creative desserts by pastry chef extraordinaire Antonio Colombo are worth the visit alone! Also the sommelière was excellent - I do not recall her name. The ambiance is very nice with a fantastic view onto the beach - lovely for a late summer stroll afterwards. Be careful about the address - we just put the postcode and street into our GPS and ended up at Marina Di Modica instead of Marina Di Ragusa! We called to see if we could still eat if we arrived late. The staff were very accommodating about our late arrival and clearly had to stay late for us which was very kind!

10/10Stunning location, food, interior design and service make this a must visit destination. Yes, it’s at the more expensive end of the spectrum, but still adds up to great value, especially if you go for one of the tasting menus.

I lived my best life and Cittina (sp?) the Sommelier made me feel the most welcome and cared for. She paired Sicilian wine with every dish. So far in Italy a woman eating on her own has been left to one glass of often not very good grillo and that’s it. I may be single but I like good wine and she knew what to do. Every course was astounding but the amuse bouche, smoked linguine with butter and anchovy, the mare mare (crocher fish) pared with the wine chosen was the best ever 😍 The other serving staff were so kind speaking to me in English and anticipating what I needed - gave me space to finish my wine and coffee and some beautiful petit fours from an old fashioned sewing box. Well done well done. Very good value for a Michelin star, have a light lunch if you go for dinner but you can do 4 courses I promise it’s worth it.

More than 3 hours for a tasting menu without an explanation of the dishes, it is not ideal. Some dishes were fantastic other average.

3.5/10It was a disaster.. this is one of my favorite restaurants and I visit every year. This year it was a horrible experience. My wife and I had to leave the rest in a hurry as she felt ill. It must have been the octopus as it was inedible. To add insult to injury the sommelier, a pretentious woman who thought it was more prudent to serve other Italian customers before us, despite having our wines next to our table ready for opening and serving. We had to in fact open the white wine ourselves, being a screw cap, and serve ourselves. Furthermore, in my booking a thought I mentioned that one of our party, was allergic to nuts, sure enough the mature, on taking our order asked about this and the person in question highlighted what she was allergic to. But to no avail, her main course was smothered with a pistachio sauce, so he had to return it and prepare another plate. Until we left, her main course had not arrived. What a shame, whenever friends of mine ask me about recommendations, this used to be the restaurant to highlight.. not anymore I’m afraid.

5.5/10Unfortunately this restaurant is not what it used to be. Food served was bland (apart from risotto and pasta) or else even over cooked - the fish. Wine pairing was also off - a red wine with a fish pasta… just didn’t work. Disappointing to say the least.

9.5/10Did the 10 meal course, it was delicious well prepared fish and big portions in general (value for money) very delicious ingredients were used and the staff was very kind and helpful, if you dont speak italian or have trouble with understanding broken English it might me a little less for experienc because of the name of the ingredients, the staf was not all capable in the English language but they did it where they could, A for effort. Would reccomend to everyone. If you are a big eater go for the 10 course if not go for the 6 course option

+3I was surprised that this restaurant was not yet awarded a Michelin Star. The attention to detail and creativity used to create each plate alone should suffice for that. Coupled with the taste of joining the sea's sweet and salty nature in an extremely balanced way was superb. Hats off to the whole team!

10/10Fine dining food experience which was truly excellent! The tasting menu looked fantastic. I had the red fin tuna which was cooked to perfection! Sommelier helped us select wine from an extensive menu.
