A lot of variability in the dishes - steak was very well prepared, but risotto and appetizers were not that enjoyable I was not a fan of the location - the garden wasn't particularly nice, there were bugs, and the bathroom was dirty and shared-use (lockers / changing room for staff)

We had a delicious fresh dinner and ate it on the patio next to the garden. The seafood was delicious and the drinks amazing. The next day we came back for the best wine tasting event with Francesco, Vrasa’s sommelier. An excellent experience that we highly recommend.

The restaurant was quite a nice vibe. The ambiance was classic while the decor modern. The food itself was great, we got the chefs tasting and it was the first night of the new summer menu. Overall food was excellent and I believe it will get better as the summer goes on

After a few days in Capri and arriving in Sorrento for a bike tour, we were ready for a great meal away from the tourists. Vrasa was the best choice we could have made!!! The location, THE FOOD, and the service were all amazing. Along with an awesome wine selection, and limoncello to go with the desert… I can leave Sorrento very happy after tonight’s dinner!!!

A memorable experience for all the wrong reasons. I felt we were part of a sociological experiment. The restaurant had great reviews and we went along full of anticipation. The staff were charming and started with a talk about their philosophy and ambitions. The starter was odd ( asparagus, seaweed and samphire?) but OK. I ordered an expensive bottle of white wine which was clearly red. The waiter insisted it was white because it said so on the label. Then we were treated to a display of a huge dead fish head and various cuts of fish. One of us chose the chicken dish which, we were informed was duck. It was a pasta dish but had no meat at all. When we asked about this we were told it was in the sauce....a thin drizzle of gravy.The pasta was extremely 'al dente' and almost inedible. My guinea fowl....which we were told was chicken was said to have five different peppers with it. These were actually about a teaspoon full of puree! We were told , in far too much detail, what the offal dish consisted of and that the beef was from cows who were slaughtered while pregnant for an improved taste. I am certainly not a vegetarian although this was almost enough to make me one. Neither of us could face the desserts and were glad to leave. They graciously did not charge for the pasta dish but we would not go back or recommend this restaurant. Even the garden we sat in was disappointing and resembled a cabbage patch.

This is a lovely spot with a beautiful garden full of fruit trees. What makes this place special is the cookingthe Cheff is incredibly creative using such flavors as sake ,soy,mushrooms, and muscles to create diverse very tasty food. All dishes have some elemnt of grilling and I loved the Raviolis the lamb muscle skewers especially. The wine was also excellent and reasonably priced. Highly recommended foe an elegant and wonderful dinner .By the way the service amazing.

This was the best meal my fiance and I ate while in Italy. It's Italian cuisine with a twist. The GM is out of this world - so helpful and knowledgeable. We ordered a lamb/ mussel skewer, the best ravioli I've ever eaten, the catch of the day and chimichurri steak. Everything had a smoked and grilled taste which is excellent. Not overwhelming but delightful! The ambiance of this restaurant was very welcoming and the chefs were on it! Everyone should try this place at least once! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. My tastebuds thank you! I'll never forgot you

From start to finish, this was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. The staff was welcoming and helpful with great recommendations. The food was superb - interesting and new with no pretensions. The wood smoked flavor on many dishes was delicious. Standouts were the grilled artichoke, grilled sea bass, the goat’s milk crème brûlée and the slightly grilled strawberries (sounds strange but amazing). I wish I lived local and could come every week. We certainly paid more to eat worse in sorrento. This should have been our first and only stop. Thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful evening.

After spending two weeks sampling restaurants all over Italy, Vrasa was by far our favourite place. Every aspect from start to finish - service, ambiance, drinks, food, presentation - were all top tier. We were beyond impressed with this restaurant and can't wait to return.

Superb. This is a little paradise tucked in the hustle and bustle of old Sorrento town. A wonderfully arranged menu, beautifully executed. Service was off the charts. We were seated at a table next to the garden and it was like we were at a great friends house…. A friend who happens to be a gourmet chef with access to incredible materials.

Hands down the best restaurant experience me and my wife have ever had. It was truly something special. Tucked away in the ally’s of Sorrento it was east to get to, peaceful and you felt like you were away from everything and everyone. They made you feel amazing and they took great care of us. All the food was very bad cooked. The octopus was like a rubber, i chewed one piece 100 times and couldn’t eat it! For 150€ they can’t serve you some salad leaf with a tuna sos (we had the chef’s selection, with different tastings, beside the small piece of fish and 1 oyster, everything was a disaster

Vrasa was honestly our favorite place we ate on our 2 week trip to Italy. It’s tucked away in the middle of busy Sorrento, but you’re surrounded by garden and green. It was not just the food, it was the entire experience. From start to finish, everyone gave us the best service we have ever had. It was such a laid back, chill, calm environment but at the same time it was so formal and proper. The attention to detail all of the workers have is incredible. Not to mention, the steak we got was the best we have ever had, and a large quantity! We enjoyed a bottle of wine after dinner under the lights on the couches. I will dream about this restaurant forever!!

My husband and I had an amazing dinner here in Sorrento. It is not your typical Italian dishes - unique, delicious food. The presentation, quality, and service were incredible. We made last minute reservations upon recommendation from a friend. Went at 8);00 and were almost the only ones there. But at 10:00, it became very busy with locals.

A wonderful restaurant set in a beautiful garden which feels a million miles away from the bustle of Corso Italia. We had the tasting menu which was delicious. They offered a wide selection of antipasti, two courses and dessert. Highlights were the Amberjack antipasti and the cod second course. The wine pairing was well considered and accentuated the food well. Overall, I’d suggest it’s a hidden gem in Sorrento for fans of fine dining, which you should experience soon before the Michelin guide inspectors find out about it.

Our favorite place on our 2 week vacation across the Amalfi Coast. The food is so unique and locally grown. It’s an experience like no other. We got the 4 course chef choice dinner and it did not disappoint. Everything was exceptional. We will definitely come back and highly recommend coming here for a nice night out!

Based on all the great reviews, we ate here last night for our wedding anniversary dinner. It was a very disappointing experience: - both meat mains arrived cold (and then they arrived lukewarm after being sent back) - the steak was incredibly fatty - where entire slices were literally just fat (why bother putting those pieces on the plate if they are literally inedible?) - asked for the dessert menu, waited over 20 mins and it didn’t arrive - asked for the bill twice and it never arrived. We had to get up and start leaving to get them to bring the bill They did take 20% off the bill after I told them how appalling this all was and I wanted our bill adjusted. While I appreciate the discount - even after that it was still 80 euros for a disappointing experience.

Vrasa is a delightful little restaurant that my wife and I enjoyed. We did the tasting menu and enjoyed most items, while a few didn’t impress us as much. The service was great and it has a beautiful ambience. We enjoyed the scarola leaf, caprese salad, the salted cod, and the tortellini very much. The egg with spinach paneer was a bit plain, and we were slightly disappointed with the dessert, which was a very simple cake slice with a sauce that had a smoky flavor - an interesting idea, but not especially tasty. On the plus side, the wine and cocktails were very good, and the service was quite good as well.

Vrasa is a (hidden away) fabulously unique dining experience. The setting an oasis of calm, luscious garden with a beautiful contemporary interior. The foods and service match the perfection of the ambiance they created. The chef’s culinary expertise a delight to observe in their open kitchen. My husband and I loved our meal, the surroundings, and our time spent chatting with the talented chefs and team. Grazie mille!!
