Such a wonderful evening. The food and service were exemplary. Every dish was exquisite: it was a modern, artistic take on Indonesian food, with each of the five courses holding its own against the rest. Thoroughly recommended. Do remember to book: the restaurant is too small and too good to just turn up. It is classy and elegant rather than cheap and cheerful, so check the menu too before you arrive. But do make an effort to go. You won't be disappointed.

Service was excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable but slow. Suspect that had to do with the kitchen rather than staffing levels. Food was excellent except chicken satay which was under seasoned. Reservation system needs to be tweaked as I had three requests from different sources to confirm our reservation. For anyone who drinks wine, be aware this restaurant has a “ only German wine” list, should not be a problem, just want to mention it. All in all a very pleasant experience and most certainly recommended.
