Absolutely great service we loved it here for our Christmas Day looked after us & our waiter was so helpful & nice to us with our French not being the best, I would definitely go here again & would definitely go here again

A relaxed and nicely decorated restaurant. The food was really good. Steak was cooked perfectly. They had waiters that could speak English that made it a heap easier for me being from down under. Well worth booking this restaurant. Central location and an easy walk after dinner back to our hotel.

My wife and I went to Why Montreux for the first time, and I write this note to say that Mr. Dilan who served us made sure that it was a truly memorable evening. I write to say the food was excellently cooked, esp. the lamb dish, and my pizza was ample in size to satisfy me completely. The modern ambience of the restaurant is very impressive, the lighting in the evening is such that it is practical, as well as enabling of creating a romantic atmosphere for a couple like us. The pricing for the food experience was unbeatable.

The restaurant is located on the grand rue of Montreux facing the lake. The inside is very cool, and I really liked the design. There's enough space and you do not feel overcrowded. I think the food was good and fresh, with different Italian cuisine propositions. Worth it to try.

We loved this restaurant and will definitely return! It's hard to find a good quality dining place in Montreux unfortunately and the Why was such a pleasant surprise. We both got the menu du jour because it sounded so great and it was. Fresh, an amazing marinade on the tomato tartar and lovely to look at. The Beef Tagliata was cooked perfectly and generously proportioned. The Panna Cotta was also delicious including meringue, fresh berries and a great taste. Service was perfect and friendly. The new interior is nice and modern but a bit dark however, it's a dance place at night so of course! Chairs were very comfortable. We will be back to try some other dishes on the menu and maybe dance at the disco one evening!

Pasta was excellent, good quality food on the menu. Sunday brunch service a bit slow — it felt like they were not really interested in taking our order from the menu rather than the regular brunch selection. I suppose this restaurant is hip at night but the decor felt more like a nightclub than a restaurant.

Italian-based, uncomplicated menu with pizza-type dishes, pasta and some meat/fish choices. Food was well presented. We only ordered pasta so can't speak for other meals. Reasonable value for money. Good choice of cocktails and wine by the glass. Decor gives nightclub setting (which it probably is later in the evening) but it was OK for an early meal and the clientele were older/families.

We visited on a quiet Monday evening so cannot vouch for what is would be like on a busy weekend, however, the food was off a high caliber and the person serving us was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back.

Big portion of very high quality food! Well presented and really tasty. Pasta cacio e pepe with tuna tartare was really authentic. The chef came to our table to know how we were doing and asking feedbacks, demonstrating real empathy and care for his job. We were a family with 3 kids and all staff was very welcome. We will be back for sure!
