Location - just round the corner from St Peters. Ambiance - a proper local wine bar. Food - Classic dishes, beautifully prepared. Staff - Busy, welcoming and friendly. Clientele - lots of locals, including many Vatican officials. Drink - huge wine list, great value. So good we went twice!

great food. as a welcome we received bruschetta and a glass of prosecco, and finally lemon sorbet. our waiter was fantastic with excellent suggestions for wine selection. would definitely come again

The vongole spaghetti and pomodoro were delicious. They also have great pinsas, sandwiches, and more. They're friendly and great.

I live in the neighborhood of this restaurant. I always bring my guests here because even though it is close to a touristy area (St. Peter's Basilica and Piazza), the food is authentically 'Italian' in the sense that the serving staff will tell you that a particular dish comes from a particular region in Italy. The wine collection is extensive.

The server was so nice despite it being very busy after the papal audience - we was wonderful and make our experience with reservations special for the 7 of us. The food was phenomenal, the best we had in Rome.

The minestrone soup and. Appease salad with eggplant were fresh and good but had little oil or dressing. The wine menu was extensive but as an American, indecipherable. The service was excellent!

We had one of the best experiences of our Italy trip here; arrived for our 5pm reservation and they were able to seat us outdoors as requested. Great personal service, with time spent helping us find the wine we were hoping for, then absolutely delicious food at a very reasonable cost. Generous portions, served hot and cooked very well. Definitely would recommend for a leisurely, filling, and relaxing meal!

We had complimentary Prosecco and brusheta and after dinner lemon icecream:) food is delicious and portions are big!

The food was wonderful, service was even better. Christian was so accommodating and it Was obvious that he has a passion for serving people great food!

The service was impeccable. Our server, (embarrassingly-I cannot recall his name) was the absolute sweetest. He was so kind and attentive to my son (adult-special needs), he gave us advice on avoiding the pick-pockets, drew us a map to get back to our hotel, guided us through our order, honestly just excellence for our first dinner in Rome. 🥰

Excellent food! We’ve been treated with the best quality and service. We had excellent pizza, spaghetti, steak, vegetables and dessert! Perfecto !!! And, the manager offer us wine and dessert for presents！

Very nice service and delicious food in this wine bar restaurant. Very close (only 5min walk) to the exit of the Piazza San Pietro of the Vatican. They offered us a small tapas with bread, olive oil and tomato and a welcome drink. The pizza was delicious and the pasta was very tastefull with big portions. After our dinner they offered us a small sorbe limoncello and the staff was very polite and helpful all the time we stayed there. Everybody must come to this wine bar in Rome, with so good prices.

Amazing time here! This was our first dinner spot during our trip and set such a high standard that we got underwhelmed with places afterwards. Christian was an amazing server, highly recommend, he will kill you..with his service. We were very particular with the wine and he went above and beyond to try and see which wine would suit our tastes. The pasta was spectacular. Would recommend, and would definitely come back to Rome just for this place alone.

I was dining alone but felt well taken care of. Servers spoke English and understood my order. I enjoyed my meal. I didn’t realize that I got a 30% discount by using Fork app. I paid a little extra and owner said, “Signora, I love you!” Quite charming and memorable.

Jordan was an excellent waiter. He even got a sauce stain out of my shirt. The food might be the best we have had in Rome so far. The prices are very reasonable. Book a reservation because it can fill up fast.

The service was impeccable and very gracious. We greatly enjoyed the food, the ambiance and the service. It is small and cozy enough to chat with neighboring tables, and at the same time lively and vibrant. Definitely a hidden gem near Vatican City.
