9.5/10there is a son et lumiere against the cathedral which you have a perfect view of. unfortunately a bad amplified violinist provides music from titanic and other potboilers continuously during the evening. a good deal with the fork discount, otherwise a bit overpriced, particularly desserts. food is perfectly fine, generous portions.

10/10Good food, take the typical one, it’s the most interesting. The choucroute is tasty and the rösti as well. Service is kind and efficient. Located in the Cathedral Square.

6/10The food was nice but our waitress was so rude. She kept rushing us to place an order and when we asked for a few more minutes to decide, she didn't come to us for the next 10 mins. We opted for the deal from the fork which gave us a 40% discount. The terms and conditions said that you need to order a starter+ main course or a main course+ dessert to avail the offer and that a couple can share this. The waitress insisted that couples cannot share so we'll need to order 4 dishes in total. We were not hungry so we decided to just order 2 dishes and not use the Fork discount. When we started to place our order, she insisted that we have to order 4 dishes which really spoiled our mood. In the end when we got our bill, it wasn't exactly a 40% discount but we weren't in the mood to fight anymore and just wanted to get out of there

7/10We were visiting Strasbourg, if your plan is to see the city it's not a great place. Even if located just next to the cathedral. The service took 2 hours from our order until we got food on our table.

4.5/10Sadly we had a bad experience... Our first first Impression upon arriving was that the food smelled good and the room looked cozy. However everything went quickly downhill. The waiter immediately made us feel unwelcome and seemed annoyed that we were there. He barely talked to us and waived in the direction of a table. The restaurant was almost empty so no reason to be rude. I almost left immediately. However we were excited to try the Flammkuchen and were very hungry so we stayed. The waiter came back - also again seemingly really annoyed that we'd booked with The Fork. He then went on to say that the discount we got with our booking would not count because it does not include Flammkuchen. Also would not count unless each of us also ordered a main (other than Flammkuchen) as well as a starter or dessert. I showed him The Fork booking and that it said "from the a la carte menu" but he just got even more mad at us. At that point we decided to leave! Instead we went to a pizza place across town which was excellent. My suggestion is to avoid this overpriced rude and uninviting restaurant. Also don't trust the fork discounts as they don't always apply - even if they seem straightforward in the booking itself.

6/10The food was fine but we waited for more than 40 min for the starters and another 40 min for the main course! Two dishes were cold so we sent them back to get reheated. The waiter was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy

10/10We enjoyed our time in the tradtional alsacien restaurant. Greatly appreciated the charming service and especially the advice on which dishes would suit my preferences from the young woman serving. All the clients were happy and the ambiance very friendly.

7/10Beautiful view which was unfortunately compromised by the slow service which was full of miscommunications between the servers and average food quality. Still, with the discount I gave it a 7/10. Without it this would be closer to a 3 or 4.

10/10Great place, right across from the cathedral. Amazing, authentic food. It's unfortunate that The Fork has some Italian menu instead of what is really served: the truly Alsace fare, I had to call the restaurant in order to make sure. They will not disappoint. Highly recommend! Thank you.
