We had a really good time. The food was delicious and very authentic, and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. The staff were friendly and attentive, and everything was well organized despite the restaurant being busy. A great place to experience traditional Alsatian cuisine. Highly recommended!

The initial person who greeted us waa very friendly & gave us two choices of where to sit. We chose a table for two. As we were about to sit down, a lady yelled at us to sit at the banquette. There was barely enough room between the table and the cushion for my legs. the table was at least 3 feet below my mouth. We didn't want to argue, so we did as directed. The same lady was our server and barked at us the entire evening. I could tell she didn't like tourists as she was mean to any obvious tourists. The food was good, a bit over priced for basically breaded chicken & fries. She brought me pinot noir instead of Reisling wine & argued. The nice guy serving the table next to us helped as he good. She threw the dessert menus on the table & at no point did she ask if we liked our food. The dessert was excellent. But, I would not return.

Very fast service, food was tasty and I was so happy to have a flame kuchen for my first meal. It was also nice to go to a restaurant near a major landmark where the locals frequented, not just tourists.

What a treat! Loved the Foie Gras & traditional ginger bread. Our traditional Alsatian mains were equally delicious & generous! My husband loved his salmon. We felt loved & enjoyed the friendly professional staff!

This was our second time here in three days. We really enjoyed the food and even though we got completely different things, we still enjoyed them. We had to order an entre and dessert per person to get the discount, which was a little bit different from when we went two days ago.

What an excellent restaurant! We ordered two LARGE meals and one dessert and the bill came out to be €34. Great value. We got 40% off our meal by ordering one entrée and one dessert or appetizer. They allowed you to split (both too). The view was excellent, we sat right outside of the restaurant, facing the gorgeous cathedral at sunset. The ambiance was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. Service wasn’t super quick, but everything was great. We’re thinking of going back tomorrow.

Positive: it worked well to book a table for 7 persons on short notice. Location is great, very close to Cathedral. Negative: The rest was all disappointing : the shown discount of 20% is not valid if you eat 'tartes flambées' with dessert as it is not considered a main dish. Then the food came but the 7th person of our group had to wait around 15 min after us to get his tarte. For paying they gave me the bill of another table which I luckily noticed once at home. Next day I went back, got the right bill but nothing special was made like a small discount to apologise. I was overall disappointed as this place was rated 8.9.

We didn' like the agresive attidude of Jean Jack waiter even he did not serve to our table. His colegue told us to choose a table for 4 persons from 2 tables but he started to schoute at us that only one table was available. Food was ok and the girls who serve us were very kindly and friendly

The food and location were great! When we got there the waiter told us that Flammkuchen were not part of the Fork deal, and that is what we went there to eat. However, it was Happy Hour, so there was another deal on the Flammkuchen, so we were ok with not getting the Fork deal.

Great food especially mini pork knuckle with roast potatoes and yhe salmon dish. Fast friendly service. We ate indoors with lovely ambience

The service was good, the food not so. The food was bland and the meat dish came with a white sauce which tasted of mixed flour and water, not cream as it's supposed to. It was really disappointing, especially for a lovely evening at the perfect location.

Very well welcomed! You will as it was a familiar restaurant while you are in the city Center looking at the cathedral. What a feeling ! this only enriches the flavors of our dishes. I recommend 100%
