Food very good, service not great. Food was taken away before finished. Wine bottle was taken with wine left in it. Already cleaning the resto when we were still eating nit very welcoming.

We went to eat Paella for the ladt night experience in Barcelona. The paella was wonderful, but we were surprised and enjoyed the soft grilled octopus which we we were recommended. We recommend to all to get it!!

We ordered black rice paella, the portion for 2 people was rather small. They didn’t allow us to order 2 different one person paellas, saying that “today they don’t do one person servings” and then a table next to ordered a one person paella without any issues. The one person portion was almost the same size as our 2 person portion. Taste wise it was a pretty average tasting paella, the rice was too salty for my taste. The seafood toppings were good, especially the shrimp, however there wasn’t much of it.

The larger churro without the standard churro shape was incredible soft yet crispy. The chocolate they serve with it was amazing. Every single day they open there’s a lineup outside. Believe the lineup, it’s there for a reason.

Nice food and ambience however the service was ok as we had to wait 30 minutes before anyone took our order the restaurant wasn’t busy and there was staff standing around talking to one another rather than looking after the customer.

I made a reservation for this restaurant 2 months in advance for my husband’s birthday, based on reviews. It was in a great location. Right on the beachfront and the staff were friendly. The food serving sizes were large and delicious. The wine was lovely. We had a nice evening.

We enjoyed everything about it! The food, the workers, the location, it was just amazing! The most important thing to us was their knowledge and selection of gluten free foods. My husband has celiacs and he was thrilled and felt very comfortable with the experience.

gorgeous location and heard good reviews but food fell short by a lot and left disappointed. We had the ceviche and paella, ceviche lacked flavour and paella was incredibly salty where i could not continue eating. mojito was disgusting and just tasted like rum and water im so sorry, no mint at all and sugar would not dissolve and left sunk at the bottom. was really expecting more

Hands down, one of the best dining experiences we've had in Barcelona! The ambiance at Xiringuito Escribà is unmatched, right by the beach with a laid-back yet upscale vibe. Special thanks to our incredible server, Toki, who made the experience even more memorable. His expert navigation of the menu, thoughtful recommendations, and spot-on wine pairing elevated our evening. Every dish felt like a celebration of Mediterranean flavor. Highly recommend and will absolutely return!
