5.5/10I was disappointed on my first visit to this restaurant. The ambience was stuffy, the music too loud and the food not really good enough for a restaurant at this price level. With the exception of the excellent cheese and spinach soufflé, the dishes (steak mainly) were just ok, the French fries were soggy and flavourless and the restaurant did not even have ketchup to liven them up. After having a superb experience at Yakuza a few weeks ago, I found this offering a much less positive reflection on Oliver’s group of restaurants. I will not be coming back.

7/10Very good, we choose the cozido à portuguesa, was nice but not impressive. The service was cordial but a little slow when the restaurant was full. Much time spend to pay ate the end.

9.5/10We paid 376 for 4 people and It was worth the money because the food was really delicious, but there was no bet in the money we paid for 4 people and we were asked if we would pay a bet. The waiter did not like the number we offered and he smiled a little mockingly. This seemed a little rude.

10/10We thought it was Michelin rated. Was surprised when it was not. But it was like a Michelin. Except portion sizes are bigger 😊. Friendly staff great food. Price was good in relation to the quality. Not to miss.

8.5/10Quality of the food is amazing. However, the Lobster Steak is totally overrated, even though the lobster was very well cooked, the sauce was not good, specially considering the price.

5/10The service at this place is terrible. Waiters that don’t take the right orders, but make sure wine is sold. Food does not came out at the right timing. Menus are conflicting btw printed card and QR code, including the prices of wine which are lower in the menu and charged higher in your final bill. Food tastes ok but it’s hard to miss when you use butter and cream everywhere. Don’t recommend.

3.5/10My past came cold and with no taste. The fish tasted like rubber. Totally inedible. When we complained they didn’t even apologize. Lastly, they brought chewing gum with the check!!!! Zero class.

10/10We loved everything about this restaurant. The food is amazing. You have a lot of variety. The staff was very kind and professional. And they also did a small cake for my mom’s birthday as a request. The atmosphere is wonderful. Will definitely came here again.

10/10Our second time in 5 days!!! Tried new dishes! The Egg as appetizer was so smooth and comforting. And the lobster steak was fabulous. The happy and welcoming greeting and service is just the best!!

10/10We were greeted so kindly and welcomed with enthusiasm. It made us feel great! Great sense of humor thé d’inamical duo had!! Glad we listened to their suggestions. Wasn’t going to have dessert as our meal was delicious and satisfying! But so glad we listened and had the soufflé!! Oh it was so good with the guava ice-cream!!

6.5/10we ordered the prawns for starters and we were quite disappointed, not to mention the price on the menu is per unit. For the main dishes, we ordered the steak xxl and the soufflé of fish and prawns, they were good, but for the price we payed for, we expected much more. Overall it’s not worth the price, would not repeat.

10/10I had such a wonderful experience at dinner. I sat at the bar and Miguel (bartender) was kind, helpful and attentive. He was very vibrant and and provided amazing service. George also gave me a wonderful greeting and checked in on me the duration of my stay. He was fun and vibrant as well. The food was phenomenal. The best food I’ve had during my stay in Lisbon. I had a wonderful time eating NYE dinner at this establishment and will be back. I highly recommend!

8/10I always wanted to visit this restaurant as it has seen some changes including the concept. Overall good restaurant, courteous staff, good food and good ambiance. Definitely we will go baço and we will recommend. We did not give five in food as we believe staters especially croquete and side dishes ush as Rice need be better thought over.. the other plates were great. Staff are good but could be more attentive. However very helpful and nice. Thank you. It was good expeirence.

10/10A very wonderful experience, our dinner was exquisite, the service provided by George and staff was both warm & friendly, and his menu suggestions were”spot-on!” We enjoyed the duck and steak entrees, and everything - appetizers, side dishes and dessert were exceptional!

10/10The restaurant is great. Settled between the Parliament building and the Prime Minister (São Bento palace) at Calçada da Estrela has a cosy atmosfere inviting to taste great food. At entrance Bruno took us to the table that we booked in advance. Lari did her best to make our night a special one. Starters, main plates and dessert were just superb. Most of the plates can be shared what makes its cost benefit quite affordable. Wines at a reasonable price. We had a nice sparkling rose for starter and a nice red for meal. Monte da Peceguina. I truly recommend as well as to read the history of its labels design at Herdade da Malhadinha Nova website. An enchanting tale. Definitely I recommend it.
