Salad was good but Paela(sea food) was amazing. It is only Spanish speaker friendly restaurant(even English menu is not available), it was only 1 old man English speaker and he was not so patient.

I got the typical “solo diner” treatment which, as a woman, is pretty bad. I was in a corner, as if to keep me out of view of the other diners. I received the bare minimum of service, as if having to look at a woman sitting by herself, eating dinner was somehow offensive to the wait staff. The wait staff was not particularly gracious or helpful as I tried to maneuver the Spanish menu. It was as if they were also offended that I did not speak Spanish. I couldn’t wait to get out of there.

An extraordinary dining experience in every way, Yarza is a very special restaurant. The dishes are artfully served and the flavors & textures are balanced and delicious. Do not fret over the Spanish language menu, as the charming and knowledgeable waiters will guide you on your food journey. If they recommend an item (say the zucchini squash blossom or soup with baby artichokes and sweet prawns or a dessert of mini-beignets with chocolate sauce), just smile and say “Yes”. You will be delighted from start to finish.

Our dinner at Yarza was as good as any that we have had anywhere in Spain. The food, which included tiny green peas, sashimi, creamy bacalan, sea bass, pressed lamb and lemon pie for dessert, was superb. The wine (2016 Muga Prado Enea Gran Reserva) was excellent and the service was outstanding. Since the menu was entirely in Spanish, he patiently explained each menu item and was very helpful in helping us make our selections. We would have had the opportunity to personally speak with chef Manu, who was making his rounds with diners (a practice that has all but disappeared with so many restaurants unfortunately), but our taxi arrived and we had to depart. This is a gem of a dining experience that truly delivers traditional Catalan cuisine with a modern touch!

The food was good, but there is no English menu and the waiters don't know English either, which detracted from the enjoyment, atmosphere, and ability to enjoy the flavors of the place.

Superb food, excellent staff all of whom were attentive and made it a great experience to go alongside a wonderful meal. If you get the chance try the lemon pie

Outstanding service, both welcoming and respectful, in an upmarket dining room with excellent quality food. The dishes were innovative twists on classics and perfectly executed. Highly recommended!

Fantastic, this was my second visit to Yarza and it was just as good as the first. Fabulous food and service. We had a mix of starters for the table to share and the seafood noodles for main which was excellent. Highly recommended - wine list is also extensive!

Yarza is my go-to restaurant in Valencia. The temperature and texture control of its meat dishes are very precise. I'm talking about accurate searing techniques, knife skills that best suit the ingredients, and layered flavors in every bite, all thanks to the expert cooking techniques. The rice dishes here are a top priority. Even though I have tried Arroceria Maribel, Flor de Valencia, Fum de Llum, Llisa Negra, Navarro, Rausell, La Barra de Kaymus, Napicol, and even the rice dishes of El Poblet and Quique Dacosta, Yarza's well-balanced seasoning and perfect doneness make it a strong contender. This might be the last time I dine at Yarza this year before my return to Taiwan, but I am very optimistic about the future of Yarza. 加油!
