Yushu is a spot where the overall vibe is fun, but the space and food are just okay. The sushi was fine - fresh and solid, but never reached that next-level "wow" factor you hope for. Not disappointing, just not memorable. I think dependable is a good word for it. The acoustics are bad though. The space has almost no sound absorption, so even though the restaurant wasn’t full, it was surprisingly loud. That said, the staff were genuinely nice. Service was attentive, friendly and easygoing, which made a real difference. Despite the noise, we had a fun night, and the positive energy from the team carried the evening. If you're up for sushi that isn't blow your socks off and a lively atmosphere vs an intimate one, this is your spot.

We really enjoyed yushu. A reservation is a must. Dishes are inventive and delicious. Excellent fish. The shitakes were excellent.

The food was excellent. The menu is quite diverse and has many delicious dishes. However, the server was so rude, unfriendly, and inefficient to point of making us feel uncomfortable just being there.

+2Yushu is an excellent sushi experience and a real surprise to find such good sushi in a quiet residential neighborhood, far from the maddening crowds of tourists. Excellent value but more importantly, really creative and delicious.

The food was just amazing and the service extremely good and quick. We were very satisfied and amazed by the food! We highly recommend the place.

Amazing presentation and great food! The food is really fresh however the portion are not too big. The ambiance is classy minimalistic Japanese style ! Highly recommended

Excellent quality! The owner is really nice and made it posdible for us to change seats. Food is incredibly tasty, one of the best sushis in town in that price range.

Really lovely experience at Yushu. From the street entrance you can tell the ambiance will be something special. They've really thought of all the touches to make it feel like a japanese tavern. Food was impeccable, and so reasonably priced. Service was so friendly. Music was a wonderful touch. Can't wait to go back. Especially recommend ordering the salmon lover's plate and maracuyá mousse

This cosy Japanese restaurant has been an incredible surprise. Certainly among the best raw fish I ever had… the quality of sushi and sashimi is outstanding. But it’s not only sushi.. the starters, the desserts.. everything was tip top. Special mention to the chef Fernando Dutra and his staff, which welcomed us in the best possible way and made our night special. Thank you guys!
