Super cosy and delicious food. Zalmhuis keep up the good work 👌🏾. Sadly for us, the conditions of the fork voucher were not cleary explained. Please update this info for other guests

Restaurant atmosphere is quite special, but food and service don’t really match it. Food was just ordinary and below expectation. We tried different variations of salmon, but nothing special really. Side note, you have to pay for the parking even though you are going to spend a good amount of money at the restaurant which is not expected honestly. In summary, I could go back for a drink to enjoy the view, but I would not have any seafood there again.

I keep coming back here. Great food, extensive menu, and very friendly personnel. The restaurant is also located on the river, with great views.

The food is amazing and the service is great. The view is spectacular on the river and on the day we went there was a live singer which added a nice atmosphere. There is also a magician who goes around tables to entertain the guests. It’s a nice interactive ambiance and the variety of food is wonderful.

Everything was really great: good food, great service, and a nice ambience (though a bit loud) . The presence of a magician and singer was also nice for a Friday evening chill with family.

The ambiance is beautiful as always. Having dinner at Zalmhuis on the weekends is a true all inclusive experience with a live DJ, live singer and magician. The music was a little loud and steak came in medium instead of medium rare and the pornstar martini cheesecake was very sour. The rest of the food was very tasty and well presented.

We were there with children, the music boxes were above our heads, far too loud music, too dark to read the menu. Not able to have a proper conversation with such loud music.

From the moment we walked into the restaurant we knew this would be special & indeed it was. Every little detail of the place is spectacular from the amazing architecture, to the grand interior, and above all the delicious food. Every plate we ordered was so well presented & made with such fine quality. The cherry on top was the truffle chocolate we had at the end; don’t skip those. We really had a wonderful time & now we’re so happy that we have found our new favourite place in Rotterdam.
