8/10This is a very popular restaurant it was packed on a weekday. Service was efficient, professional, and pleasant. Sashimi was very good with a good selection. Not outstanding but good. Strangely it was offered without ginger. I could have asked I suppose but the place was crazy busy. Ambience is not a draw.

6.5/10Sashimi was average, the freshness and the moisture of the sashimi were not up to expectations especially the prawn where it was very dry. The rest of the food were slightly above average in terms of taste and presentation.

7.5/10Service wasn't actually terrible - it was actually good. However, what I did not like was pressure at the presentation of the bill to tip. It is not customary to tip in France. When the bill was presented, the waiter specifically asked for a tip and suggested either 10% or 20%. Then he stood there waiting. I consider this to be very rude given the culture to not tip in this country. At no other restaurant during our vacation did anyone even have the ability to add a tip when paying by card much less specifically ask for one. As such, I downgrade my experience pretty significantly. Food was good (not amazing, but good) and the restaurant location and ambience were wonderful.

9.5/10This restaurant is a great find in Paris! It is authentic and creative. The chef is very talented. The meal started with an amazingly well done mushroom chawanmushi. The sushi was so fresh and well done!! I can’t wait to return on my next visit to Paris! You will not regret trying this restaurant! It’s a gem!

4/10Maybe it’s because I’m from the Pacific Northwest in America, but we have much better sushi restaurants where I’m from for 1/3 the price. The service was EXTREMELY slow. The only positive was our apricot panna cotta at the end. Don’t waste your time in Paris on this one

3/10The food was so bad, the service the worst waitress ever, an oriental woman with the worst attitude, treating us sooo bad, she wouldnt even have the menu at the table, making bad faces, bad bad bad and top of all super expensive!!!!! Dont go!!! Sorry for the owners but please pay attention to the people that works with you. People like that can destroy a business.

5/10This is far from an avarage Japanese resto you can have in Asia, let alone a MICHELIN GUIDE one. We had the coldest birthday service ever. The waitress refused to serve us in a very rude way the birthday cake we brought there even if it's noted in the RDV, so we had to purchase 2 extra desserts with only one tiny candle. The food portion is abnormally small, with 60 per person, we are barely full. Worse is the quality of the Japanese poisson, the sashimi and unadon are skinny, which shouldn't be the case with such pricing.

9.5/10A fabulous find in Paris if you are looking for Japanese food. The Chawanmushi was excellent, the sushi delicious and the Zen menu highly recommended! Been there twice and will definitely go back again!

10/10Not my first review of Zen. Certainly not the last. My favourite Japanese restaurant in Paris by a long shot! It's always fresh, refined and tricks your taste buds into believing you're back in Tokyo... Absolutely fantastic.

10/10Really great meal from start to finish. Atmosphere was excellent, service was spot on, and every dish we tried was delicious from hot chicken teriyaki to the Royal Sushi platter. The chocolate cake dessert was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. The whole meal to include a Coke Zero and two glasses of wine, just over €100. Perfection!

6.5/10Food was quite nice, but the sashimi royal was disappointing. For the price, the sashimi served as well as the portion was below expectations. The Sakura menu was however, good value for money. The dishes served with the menu were of good quality and taste as well. So just go for the Sakura menu and skip the rest.

8.5/10Great dishes I recommend the chirashi Royal the sushi rolls were good too. I must say for a Japanese chef I was surprised that they overcooked them rice for our rolls. Rice was almost mushy and overcooked but fish was fresh and really delicious
