lovely location (about 20 metres down a very steep hill), cosy inside, many tables outside. Food was excellent, service good. Decent wine selection. Would definitely recommend and go back.

This was by far the best food we have had in our week in Tuscany. The octopus was nicely charred on the outside and moist and tender inside. The mashed potatoes that accompanied it was just the right side of buttery with just the right hint of tarragon. The sauce in the seafood pasta was just light enough to allow the seafood to shine through. The baby squid was definitely the highlight in that dish. The deserts, wine and excellent service rounded off a delightful evening in which we were celebrating a 60th birthday.

Friendly welcome from all the staff. Sat outside and provided with a blanket incase it got chilly as there were no heaters. We were served promptly and the food and wine were all delicious.

The food was excellent. Sea bass in tomato and separately a ravioli with shrimp. The setting is lovely outside definitely reserve or get there earlier to get one.

Interesting experience eating on slanted street! Excellent appetizer of fried burrata. Pici with wild boar ragu was great.

This is a sweet little spot with a lovely view and clever set up on a steep hill. The service was impeccable, and food was very fresh and prepared with local ingredients. Great wine list and servers gave excellent pairing recommendations. Highly recommend!

I chose this restaurant in Siena for tonight based on the many positive reviews, which now leaves me seriously questioning them after our experience. The starters were fine, but the pasta dishes were a complete disaster. Both were simply inedible. My pasta was overcooked and literally swimming in olive oil, easily more than ten spoonfuls, making the dish greasy, heavy, and impossible to finish. For a tomato and seafood pasta, it made no sense at all. The other pasta dish was also overcooked, but in this case dry and tasteless, as if it had been reheated several times. A huge disappointment, especially given the high ratings we saw before booking.

We came back to this place for the second time during our stay in Siena. Such a cozy and friendly atmosphere. And the food was simply amazing!

Our first day in Siena and we passed this restaurant walking in the area. We decided to go back later and try and it was well worth it! We were looking for something more than pasta and the grilled steak strips and roasted pork were both excellent!! The entire meal including the attentive service was excellent and one of the best meals of our trip. Highly recommend and suggest a reservation if you want one of the limited outdoor tables with a magnificent view of the Siena Duomo!

The waiter was quite a freindly and nice guy. He kept the best outside seat for us. We could enjoy a nice view of Duomo from the seat. We ordered seafood pasta, risotto and Chiken. Every plates were excellent. It became a memorable night in Siena.We will visit here again!

The food was nice, but what surprised us was the service from a napolitan waiter! He helped us with finding the right table and then serving us with good humour! Thanks!

We had an outdoor table and looked down the alley towards a neighborhood street party on the evening of our visit. Lots of fun people watching and the food/wine was excellent.
