I am very surprised why the restaurants has not so high rating. I am here already 5th time and the food is amazing! You should try caramelized chicken and eggplant in special souse (number 603) in menu. I highly recommended this place :)

It was a very good hotpot resto that earned the approval of my Chinese speaking French bf. More than that, the staff honored my request for a surprise birthday. They didn't have a cake but they played a birthday song and had a candle on a dessert. He enjoyed the whole experience. Truly memorable.

The hotpot was very good. Soup base was mild spicy and fragrant. So many selections of ingredients to cook in. Lovely place to enjoy this festive food with friends and family.

It was always a lovely restaurant but I think they recently improved the lighting. One thing that I didn't appreciate is the new charge for sauces. I've not encountered that in a hotpot restaurant before.

LOVED! I was missing hotpot after a trip to China and this totally hit the spot, you get so much for the price of the hot pot menu (49CHF), the meats, seafood and vegetables to put in your hotpot are varied and fresh, and the sauce bar had lots of options. Would return in a heartbeat! The ladies doing the service were really friendly and the setting of the restaurant was really nicely decorated. I would only add a little bit of music to create more of an atmosphere but apart from that, it was a 10/10!

We went there specially for Peking Duck menu. The food was really good, also the service and atmosphere. We really enjoyed our time!

Experience at the restaurant was unpleasant when the service providers were not too friendly and giving a lot of negative feelings. They want to charge for almost everything. The worst is if you want to open your own wine or other alcoholic drinks. It’s from €50. Worst service we had in Geneva.

I come to Zhou Yu all the time for business lunch or dinner. The food is great. The service is excellent. I sometimes come with my friends for hot pot. They are really lovely here. I always recommend the restaurant to my friends.

Terrible service. The waitresses were rolling their eyes at us. I really don’t like their rudeness. When my girlfriend asked for a toothpick, one of the waitress was very impatient. They don’t allow people to bring their own water. That’s actually against the law. Moreover, when I tried to put my water in my bag. Another waitress came towards me and reminded me to put the water away despite the owner has just told me so. In terms of the food, I never expected that rubbish was what I paid 108 Fr for. The amount was little, the meat slices were cut unevenly, and the seafood was not fresh. In one sentence: don’t go.

I always enjoy going here, reminds me of when I lived in Chongqing, a China. Some options are a bit different , the 酥肉 for example doesn’t have the numbing pepper in the batter and is prepared a bit differently. The hottest option could actually be much spicier with more peppers in it, but I’m sure it’s toned down for the Geneva pallet. Closest food I’ve found to authentic Sichuan hotpot in Geneva.

We as a family went for dinner at this restaurant and the food was great. The restaurant was not crowded and the service was good, The food was tasty and i will surely visit the place again.

We ordered the set hot pot menu. We would have liked to have ordered hot pot a la carte but they either don't have this option or insisted we ordered the set menu. The food itself was good.

Lovely staff, v nice food. We are a regular here and we can count on the food & service to be excellent every time.

The food portions was decent for three ladies, the only gripe I had was that the soup base was abit too salty. The service was actually prompt and attentive, contrary to a lot of the negative reviews on Google. The price of their drinks was a whopping 10CHF for Chinese tea which was too expensive, we opted for plain water, it’s 2CHF Per person and ok it’s reasonable.

very disapointing..very expensive for food quality mediocre...for international tourists perhaps..not for us chinese food normally not too expensive so you can order more than one plate per person...not here!!!

The restaurant knew we were English and didn't provide the fruits de mer (seafood) with our meal. It was annoying but we couldn't face arguing There was little instruction on how long to cook everything
