The carbonara was outstanding! Rafael our waiter was very attentive, the service was phenomenal. Worth the extra walk to find this gem of a restaurant. Very well priced too.

Service from Max was incredible however my steak came out undercooked and warm rather than hot.

Fantastic experience. A little walk from where we were staying in central Rome (via del corso) but very much worth it. The menu was extensive, very helpful owners offering great explanations and advice on the wine and food menus. Really felt like we were very well looked after in every respect. Extremely good value too (considerably more so than other also very good restaurants we visited). Well done, what a great restaurant.

We found this restaurant on trip advisor and decided to give it a chance for our Valentine's day dinner. We are really glad we did so because the restaurant was really nice, on another level than other restaurants we visited before. Staff was really nice, our waiter Max explained everything and was very kind! The food was amazing, so was the price! For bruscetta as appetizer, pasta carbonara, filled ravioli, pistacchio tiramisu, 2 glasses of prosecco, 1 beer and 1 bottle of wine, we paid 56€! We were really really happy we found this restaurant and we will sure go back to try their pizza 😍 Tottally recommend!

Just a nicely standard level Italian restaurant, but it has to be considered as a very good restaurant by considering their price and the fact that there are so many disappointing badly expensive touristic restaurants in Rome. Highly recommended for foodies who care a lot about cost quality balance at a real ordinary Italian restaurant. We will definitely come back.

My wife and I were in Rome for a week during our honeymoon, and Ai Cocci was hands-down the best dining experience we had in the entire city. It's the only restaurant we visited more than once. The quality of service was outstanding on each visit. The staff is friendly, patient, and highly efficient even during very busy times. On our most recent visit, Max took care of the entire patio area (including a large group of 8-10 people, plus a handful of separate couples and families). He was careful to take the orders in a logical manner, which was apparent right away, and made sure that everyone was served their orders in a reasonable time. This did not look easy, and it has not been our experience at other establishments. Max, you are awesome! Even with a large number of patrons and orders, he still made it a personalized experience and was having conversations with ourselves and the other diners along the way. The food is every bit on par with the service. The first time, my wife and I ordered the cacio e pepe and the carbonara. It was creamy, delicious, and very filling. The best pasta we experienced in Rome! The portions were totally satisfying and the prices were very reasonable. On our most recent visit, we had the Buffalo ricotta with spinach and the grilled lamb with potatoes. Both made to perfection! The lamb was succulent, the potatoes were the right mix of soft and crunchy, and the pasta was fresh and delicious. Both times we had the crostini with mushrooms and arrancini for appetizers and we were not disappointed. Note - the first visit, the restaurant did not have the mushrooms but substituted them with artichokes. I personally generally stay away from artichokes but there was not a spec remaining on the plate this time. Overall, 10/10 experience. I would recommend this restaurant to all visitors of Rome who want an authentic Roman dining experience with a wonderful wait staff at a reasonable cost. Thanks to everyone at Ai Cocci. We will see you every time we are in Rome again!!

We reserved the Restaurant Ai Cocci via the Fork for 19 people and it worked perfect. We reserved kinda last minute and we even got the places outside. The Staff was very friendly, talking multilingual, giving us food proposals for the group. The Food was delicious, good sized portions and we didnt have to wait long for it to get to our table. All of us were very happy about this restaurant, thats why we went there a second time. 10/10 from all 19 people, everyone was super happy.

We had a fantastic meal. Vino bianco della casa, Suppli, Carciofi alla Romano , pappardella al ragù bianco di cinghiale, limoncello. All of the pasta is fresh and amazing! I’ve eaten here twice, recommending it to everyone!

Run by people who care about the food. All the second plates were red meat however. Not the place to go if you are veggie or not a red meat fan. You could have pizza which is good though. Good wine selection.

Fantastic restaurant with amazing food and reasonably priced. Such a lovely atmosphere and not touristy. Worth a small work from the chariot racing area. My daughter spilled pizza sauce down her jumper and they were on hand with stain removing spray. Staff are great and definitely the best and most authentic meal we’ve had.
