10/10After having a dinner last evening at this restaurant and after a good experience, we decided to have a lunch here today. We had Game meatballs again, and they were delicious as the last evening we are coming back for lunch here again tomorrow. :-)

9.5/10Food and service were great. Tried the deer and the Swedish beef filet and both were quite good, the former requiring a somewhat adventurous palate. Only small issue was with music and lighting. Too much dated American popular music and sconces along wall leading to WC just behind bar area were WAY to bright, kind of making scene less than ideal. Each table had candlelight and there were also other lights so the sconces really need not be so bright. They eventually turned them down. If we visit again (we’re from California), we would choose the seating up front nearer the bar as it looked a bit more lively and interesting if you like to people watch. But not loud. If want privacy and romantic, choose the space further back.

10/10We are 2 Italians living here since 5 years. Each time someone visits us, we bring them here since it's possible to try really high quality Swedish food in the old city center, with most of restaurants are just touristic. Game balls, moose and deer are absolutely recommended.

9/10The only minus is that the moose carpaccio isn't as good as before when they use swedish hard cheese and ruccola instead of normal salad. Rydberg with beef or deer and craft beer here are obligatory!!!

9.5/10We had a wonderful group dinner. Food was excellent, particularly the reindeer sirloin and filet. Overall, excellent restaurant in the middle of old Stockholm. The only minor criticism was the heath. Because of the warm weather in Stockholm and the large number of people in the restaurant, it was quite warm inside, though not overly uncomfortable. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants nice Swedish food. Deer is their specialty, but they also have salmon and some vegetarian dishes on the menu.

10/10The restaurant emphasizes the whiskey connection but that is only the start. Neither of us like whiskey, but there are plenty of options on the menu. The food was excellent and the service was good as well.

2/10Had high hopes when arriving at ardbeg, but this became a truly hopeless evening. When we came in to the restaurant the waiter almost didn’t welcome us and just showed us to a table, slung out menus and just left us sitting there with a feeling of us not being welcome, we looked through the menu and we didn’t find anything that seemed, having a bad feeling from the start we decided to go to another place, I tried explaining this to the waiter as we left but he just rolled his eyes at me(!!) and when I said goodbye he just looked at me like I was the biggest idiot. Textbook “how-not-to” treat customers.

10/10Great whisky place with an huge list of drams. Food is very good too. I recommend trying their own cask of Ardbeg. The only negative maybe that it is quite price. I'm a big whisky fan, and so if I will be in Stockholm, I will surely visit again.

6.5/10Nice restaurant with an amazing selection of whiskey. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Good was good though took long 50 minutes from time of order to be served. Two of three dishes could have been served at bit hotter. Overall ok.
