10/10The food was great, easily the best bao I’ve eaten. The owner was incredible nice and polite. He explained the whole menu to us and told us the story of the restaurant.

7/10The atmosphere in the restaurant was ok, friendly. I think it was the owner who first attended to us, but then two other ladies attended to us and I think the service should have been done by the same person so that there was a follow-up. It was suggested that we order some starters and then not to worry because the size of the Bao was big, like the size of a hamburger. We ordered starters to share, they were good, and then we each ordered a Bao, when the Bao arrived we realised that it clearly wasn't enough, but they took so long to serve (about 40 minutes) that we didn't have time to order anything else as we were in the middle of the working day. The owner mentioned several times that everything was made in the airfryer, which frankly was unnecessary to mention so often. I was actually disappointed with the portions.

2/10Very bad bao. Dry deep fried prawns with simple vegetables and cheap mayonnaise for 10 Euros, with no sauce whatsoever. Unfriendly table staff and bad interior design.

10/10The best restaurant if you want to try an Asian corner in Lisbon. The owner is a very passionate and friendly person, He explained to us the menu in a very complete way and we recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a pleasant, quiet and welcoming evening in Lisbon trying the Bao!

10/10Amazing space eith INCREDIBLE food. Hidden from the main streets of Chiado, you can escape inside the city and try delicious food. Went with my best frirnd and we both loved it. Will be coming back :)

8/10Some of the Boa I’ve had in Lisbon are mostly bread with very little filling. Not this one. Very generous portion of duck and some veggies made for a satisfying combination. Also the sauce was not too sweet

9/10A really nice encounter in the middle of Lisbon ! We are bao lovers and were really happy about the dishes on the menu they serve. Moreover, the owner of the restaurant was really friendly and made us feel at home ! We shared dumplings as starter, loved them, and ate then two baos each, we'll certainly come back, thank you again.

10/10I recently had the pleasure of dining at a bao restaurant and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was undoubtedly the highlight of the evening. Each bao was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. It was evident that the chefs used only the freshest ingredients and took great care in the preparation of each dish. The menu offered a great variety of options for all palates. The environment was modern and chic, yet cozy and comfortable. The restaurant was tastefully decorated with plenty of seating available, including a lovely terrace which provided a great view of the surrounding area. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable, providing great recommendations and taking the time to explain the different dishes to us. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their customers did not go unnoticed. The price of the food was more than reasonable, especially considering the quality of the dishes. The portions were generous, leaving us feeling completely satisfied. Overall, I highly recommend this bao restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. With its delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and attentive staff, it is definitely worth a visit.

10/10I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was absolutely delicious. One thing that really stood out was how accommodating the owner was. He was incredibly friendly and took the time to ask us about any food intolerances we had, and suggested some of the best dishes that would work for us. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to come back!

10/10The food is fantastic and the hospitality is very welcoming. My favorite was the pork gyoza, while my husband loved the pork shumai, but we also had the pepino salad, duck bao, frango bao and oxtail gyoza and everything was delicious. It is clear how much the owner takes pride in his place. We will return many times and will be sure to recommend Bao House to anyone who enjoys delicious dumplings and bao.
