5/10Although the meat was good quality and it was fun to pick the meat and how much you wanted by weight with the Butcher, the rest of the menu left a lot to be desired. Restaurant was out of mozzarella, the fried artichoke had no taste, the willa salad was just literally arugula with nothing on it, and the green beans were overcooked. Another positive thing however, was that the house wine was very good and extremely good value. In general, I would not recommend this restaurant.

10/10Returned for a second day in a row and had another great experience. 3 courses and 3 drinks for 2 for under €90 - so reasonable! Everything was fresh & delicious and would definitely recommend and return!

10/10The food, service and ambience were excellent. This is my first time and being an American and going to an "American" Steakhouse, I expected top notch across the board. The people were very friendly and the food was excellent. Compliments to the chef who cooked my steak to perfection and for the very friendly staff. Bull is a place I would highly recommend and return to. It has been around along time and I have been told it is the oldest steakhouse in Rome. The ambience is nice with the touches of the old west in America, but with an Italian twist and there is no language barrier. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

10/10Bull Steak is located away from shopping and other eating establishments, but it has quaint eating areas, you choose your own cut of beef from their butcher, and the prices were the best we saw in Italy. We’ll worth the short drive from our hotel near the Vatican.

5.5/10I didn't like the meal at all. Vegetables, green beans and "baked potatoes," were awful, steak was overdone (filet). That said, my husband had fries and a different type of steak (rib eye) and enjoyed his meal. Guess it's hit and miss. Good service!

10/10The concept of Bull Steak is clear: an excellent cut of meat is prepared for you after you selected the meat at the counter yourself. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and happy to help you with your choice if needed. The wine list pares well with the menu as do the different preparations of vegetables and potatoes. Highly recommended for lovers of good and well prepared meat.

10/10It is one of the best meat restaurants in Rome, not far from Colosseum (15-20' walking distance). Whatever we have tried was superb and delicious (mix grill, entrecôte, salads, tiramisu) while the staff was super nice and welcoming!

9.5/10Went for a a steak experience and we got a premium!!!! You are met by a young team with a smile and a welcoming attitude. An italian stake house - basic food with the steak as the centerpiece. Go to the in-house butcher and chose your steak - size, cut, how you want it grilled etc - get it grilled as you like. This to a price which is really reasonable and with a local variety of sides.. wine selecting not big but good enough to match the steak - the centerpiece for us!!

6.5/10We found the restaurant through Trip Advisor. The ambience was nice. Limited side dishes and some on menu not available. Steaks were cold but this seems to be a thing in Italy as we had lots of luke warm/cold food.

10/10The Food was cooked perfect exactly what you expect from a steak house. The price was more than fair especially if you make your reservation through fork and get the 20% off. The waiters were very attentive and ability to choose your own meat brings a new and cool element to the experience.

10/10Simply fantastic. Upon arrival greeted by a young chap who showed us to our table, very professional yet friendly. Our waiter(s) was amazing, attentive, quick, professional yet friendly. For a Monday night, the place is rammed (well, maybe 2 tables unoccupied), so it's just as well the waiting staff are young and vibrant. As to the food, what can I say, DIVINE! As it had been some years since I'd been here last, I was anxious that the beloved meat counter would be gone, but they retained what i would say is the best part! The oven baked spud with the fillet cooked to perfection, 2 friends had the T-bone steak (it's humungous) and another friend had the pasta with porcini mushrooms. The pasta portion was a big portion too. Decor and vibe, is typical easy dining. It's not pretentious & the quality of food and service is second to none. No menu's in english, but simply scan a QR code and you're done. Our waiters English was very good, but there arent too many tourists that'll find this gem. Definitely back to the top of the list for places to bring peeps when they visit Rome.

8.5/10Nice restaurant with positively different consept. You can choose meets from the Butcher’s Shop and get exactly what and how much you want. Meets were also perfectly cooked. We had a table at the lower part of the restaurant and it’s was a bit noise and that reduced atmosphere and timing was also slighly challenging, meets came a few minutes before sides.

8/10Visited this place on 22 July, The meat was a 9,5/10. So if you want to order meat you have to walk to the chef and tell him what you would like and how many Hg. 1 Hg = 0,1 Kilo. The prices are good. My girlfriend ordered a pasta was not that special. But yeah it’s called a steakhouse. For the meat, Go there!

9.5/10Incredibly tasty Tagliata. It was meant for 2 people (600 grams) but I easily ate it by myself, not regretting it one bit. At first I was startled because despite asking for a medium rare, I received it extra rare, it leaked so much blood that it got the tablecloth drenched in it (at first glance someone might have said I had spilled a glass of red wine). The serving plate was made in a special blend of iron (ghisa) that loses heat slowly and when they brought it to the table it was smoking hot. That way, if you despise the blood too much you can keep the meat on the iron layer to cook it further, or press it to quicken the process. I decided to trust the restaurant and went for it while it was still bloody. It was the right choice: somehow the meat was juicy and very tasty, but it didn't taste bloody at all, just heavenly beefy goodness. Totally worth the price.

9/10Ate here last night, we had starters then I had fillet and hubby had a ribeye cut & a bottle of wine. The steak was cooked perfectly. We ordered fries each and also spinach each, we should have ordered these to share. Very good price meal €90 inc tip. The restaurant is ok inside but the food outweighs the decor and it was busy which made a lovely atmosphere. A great little find!!!

10/10We can absolutely recommend the Bull Steak. The service was very good and also the food was perfect. We could choose the meat ourselves at the display case and it was then prepared according to our wishes. On our next visit to Rome, we will definitely come again.
