8/10Quality of the service and food was good. Location and atmosphere is very good. Also good value for money. The gambas in garlic sauce and the fish carpaccio were delicious!

9.5/10Very nice restaurant near the Carmo neighborhood. Close to Santa Justa Lift and The Museu Arqueológico Do Carmo. Food was good however wish the portions were larger. Restaurant was clean, quiet, and upscale. Make sure to check the bill as they charged us for the Couvert when we refused it and forgot to apply the discount, however the head waitress fixed this without issue once we pointed it out.

7.5/10The restaurant is beautiful and the food was good, but the service was poor. The restaurant was not that busy when we arrived, but the servers seemed overwhelmed. We asked for bread twice but never received it even though it was on the bill

8/10Carmo is a cute restaurant with good food and I thought the prices were quite fair. It was not very busy on a Tuesday night at 8:30 pm but the food and service were very good. We had the pork ribs with barbecue sauce and fries and also the chicken breast with sausage rice and a side salad. Everything was delicious. Not huge portions but definitely enough to fill us up. Like I said, it was kind of dead inside so the vibe was pretty quiet but the food & service were good.

10/10At Carmo, we had a very romantic table by the window. I really loved the way the table was set by the window facing outside! Food was amazing and so was the service. We got some tasty vegetarian options. I highly recommend Carmo.

8/10The dining area outside included live music. The wait staff was relatively attentive and the food was good. My chicken Caesar was good and my partner enjoyed the Portuguese beef. It was a very pleasant meal in a lively outdoor setting.

6/10Expensive for what you get. 18€ for a dish of rice that literally was meant for Tom Thumb, unbelievable, it was not even good. Food in general was average and the service, even tho they were nice, the service was so slow. I had to ask several times for drinks that were taking forever to arrive. There’s worst places of course, but I wouldn’t repeat this one

9.5/10The food was quite good and the service was attentive and caring. We had salads, entrees and dessert and each course was wonderful! I really got the sense they truly cared about our experience. Our server, although very new, really enhanced our experience!

9.5/10I had a lovely dinner at Carmo. I got the tuna steak, which was a large serving and very tasty. It was cooked just right (I hate when fish gets overcooked) and the vegtables that came with it were great. I made the reservation on TheFork and said I had a reservation when I arrived, but they didn't seem to check the reservation and there was a bit of confusion about being seated. Luckily, it wasn't that busy so I was seated after a short wait.

9.5/10Very nice restaurant with a good quality food and wines. At a certain time it was cold and we thought that the air conditioner was on. It turned out that they have left the restaurant door open! It was cold and windy outside.

5/10I've eaten at Carmo on every trip to Lisbon. My first bad experience. Water served without asking and charged to my bill (I didn't touch it). Alvocado appetizer was mostly humus and served with chips not pita. Waiter tried to push a third glass of wine I didn't ask for, Waiter asked for a tip on top of what was included. Used to serve tapas. No longer. Used to have a good wine list. No longer. Won't return. 5/10 is too high for my experience. More like 2/10.

7/10Beautiful restaurant that I knew for years. Used to be full of life and customers. Excellent food, great choice of wines.... I got highly disappointed. Place is as nice as it was but..... Empty. And I no wonder why. Except shrimps as the starter, the rest was a disappointment. We asked for sardines and they were from the package. Sorry, that I can do for 2 euro at home.... Something called " avocado hummus" which was simply guacamole 🥑. Octopus and codfish ... Could be nice if it was served warm. The mafia course was luke warm... What a disappointment. At least the wine was ok, but the waters were not trained enough to speak neither about the food, nor the wines. Again, what a pity....

7.5/10A couple of minor issues with service, missing cutlery, forgot to bring milk for tea but good food and good value. Music was a.little too loud in the speaker above our heads. Would recommend otherwise.

6.5/10The inside of the restaurant is very well decorated and they have two romantic tables that look out on the square. When we walked in nobody greeted us for over minutes then we were told to wait. When finally seated service thru out the meal was slow and often times we had to ask the bartender for assistance. Food was mediocre at best. For $4 we received 2 small hard rolls with butter, not focaccia as stated. The appetizer of mixed chorizo and cheese was partially good. Of the 9 pieces of meat most were inedible to us. The gnocchi had no sauce and were crunchy/hard. I specifically went for the bras’ and it was under seasoned I had to ask for salt and pepper. To end meal server specifically asked us to leave tip.

6.5/10Service was not really attentive. Food was ok, but not worth the money. Octopus was chewy, and so was the beef sirloin despite ordered medium. No salt and pepper on the table. Signature cocktails only after 8pm available.

10/10We went there with friends and the food was very nicely cooked, good ingredients, well seasoned. The ambience was great, well decorated and carefully furnished. The staff very friendly and efficient. We really recommend the Carmo Restaurant, located at the cultural center of beautiful old Lisbon (right in front of Carmo archeological museum)
