3.5/10Very, very disappointing. Poor value - 23 euros for 2 sticks of asparagus although that dish tasted good. The salmon trout in the other starter was a good delicate flavour but ruined by the very strong sauces with it. The Pintade main was good but the veal was very tough. I even had to get the waiter to top up my glass of wine as he had poured me a short measure. Avoid this restaurant.

10/10A superb experience in every way. The service was attentive and courteous, the food was creative, delicious and beautifully executed, the ambience refined without being stuffy. Most of the diners were American tourists (as were we), which is expected in this district. Possibly our best meal out of 10 days in France. Definitely on our list to return to when we are next in Paris.

9/10Was seated at the counter . The menu is not extensive but everything listed was thoughtfully created . The crab and celery starter was refreshing and the veal was superbly done .

10/10It is rare to find a restaurant of such high caliber open on Monday evening in Paris. Colvert is a great option! Service friendly and knowledgeable. Food flavorful. And atmosphere and crowd very authentic. The sommelier was particularly passionate about the digestifs and cognacs on offer. Bottom line- an enjoyable evening!

2/10Very disappointing. I had read great reviews, but we were underwhelmed to say the least. The cod was undercooked and was a very skimpy portion. It had zero flavor. The Guinea was undercooked as well. The only vegetarian option was a plate of carrots. The bread was good, but they had no butter (even when we asked politely). The wine recommendation was good and was the only redeeming quality. The server asked how our meal was and we shared our feedback but they offered no apology or remediation. Will not recommend and will not go back.

The dishes of our chef are usually appreciated by our guests. We are sorry to note your disappointment regarding his creations and the lack of vegetarian dishes on our menu. Our chef works mainly with meat, fish and game. Plants are not really one of his specialities. What's more, most French restaurants don't serve butter with their bread. As far as we're concerned, we avoid this practice so as not to distort the way our guests feel about the dishes they're served. Our guests who were present during your visit enjoyed the food that was served.
