10/10Flamant has a lovely atmosphere backed up by excellent food and service at great value prices. Having an evening menu is a huge plus, although a la carte prices are aslo very reasonable. Really great venue!

7.5/10Does the job. We ordered 1. Octupus. Very good 2. Patas bravas. Excellent 3. Thai curry. (Lacked spicy taste, flavors, it was bland) 4. Paella. Very good. 5. Oxtail gyoza. Very good. Staff is nice. But looks they understaffed that day, since our server was very busy. Took long time (almost 15mins to get to take our orders) Would I return? Maybe price ratio was good. Av. 25eur per person.

8/10Food was great and reasonably priced. But we are tourists from another country who couldn’t speak the language well. The waiters and servers couldn’t speak a word of english. Despite the english menu, the one taking our order was still unsure of one of my orders. We also ordered a second fideua after we’ve started eating because we really liked it. More than 20mins had passed and nothing. So we decided to just get the check. Luckily and as it turns out, the second fideua was not ordered. Apparently, they did not understand that we wanted another. Other than the language barrier, everything was great! The food was great (but the chicken with the foie gravy was not my favorite. The only thing that carried that dish was the gravy), the ambiance was great, and the location was great! It’s a beautiful restaurant unassuming from outside ????

7.5/10We met chef Carlos, great cook, great food, wonderful cooking! When the bill came we were also pleasantly surprised. All staff very friendly. Thank you Carlos!

7.5/10The food was fantastic when it came, long delays between courses - restaurant was very busy and not enough staff, many people did not wait to pay at their table but paid at the desk next to our table making the area as busy as La Rambla destroying any ambiance.

4/10Service was an absolute disaster. No one paid attention to taking your order. When main course finally arrived for the 4th time (1st to wrong table too early, 2nd heated in micro, 3rd heated in micro again but a bit longer=warmer , 4th possibly made new but doubtful ) it was rather tasteless more like coming out of a tin. Staff spoke no English at all and was nonchalant. Maitre d’ was ok and saved us from having to leave. Waiter should be fired.

6/10We had an early reservation, but they'd already run out of some ingredients, one of them being eggs! so one of our starters wasn't available. They didn't have the wine we wanted, which meant buying a more expensive bottle. Three of us had starters, one didn't, but her main course was served at the same time as our starters. She ate really slowly in order not have to sit and watch us eat our main courses. Our waiter was ok, but another who served was quite sloppy. We had the evening menu and the food, in general, was good for the price. The salad hadn't long been out of the fridge so was a bit too cold and not seasoned very well. On the other hand, the tuna teriyaki was tasty as was the chicken and Thai curry. The steak was only warm on the outside. Deserts: chocolate fondant wasn't hot enough or runny inside. I'll probably go back at some stage to give it another chance.

8.5/10This restaurant was a nice little discovery. It honestly opens too late for our taste hence we did the reservation. Great food, well balanced and fairly priced. Only the waiters forgot our orders around 3 times.

3/10The food was hugely disappointing. It dishes were bland; the ingredients were of very low quality and the vegetables were clearly not fresh; the dessert resembled something like baby food past its sell-by date. Never again.

5.5/10The quality of food on the set menu is OK for the price, nothing remarkable. The cream catalana has a little too much corn flour and lacks the characteristic citrus aroma. Very long wait for the bill.

7/10I come to Flamant 1 or 2 times a year. It's a nice place and the food is good in general. I was just disappointed this time by the Arroz negro which was very dry and the sepia, and also by the cheesecake which was a bit plain. The staff was nice.
