10/10We loved this place. It has a modern but welcoming vibe - we had a really cozy table. The proprietor/server was wonderful. He described the dishes, and suggested wine pairings for the dishes we selected. We had the artichokes, the shrimp tartar, and the lamb pie. All were amazing and so were the wines. Do have the cheesecake - I loved it despite hating 2 of the cheeses in it - with a dessert wine of course!

10/10We had a great time with friends at the Ganz wine bar - the wine went perfectly with our dinner of sausages, cheeses, octopus, artichokes, tuna tataki & steak tartare. Service was excellent-our servers were both friendly and gave great wine recommendations. I would recommend this for a meal out with friends, or a date night.

8.5/10Wonderful food, amazing to learn that it came from a tiny kitchen. We had confit leeks in Romesco, beef cheeks fork tender in a sauce with N African spices and sweet potato purée, and lamb pastille with complex flavors. Every bite was delicious. The only false note was that when the wine we ordered was unavailable, the substitute offered was twice the price. We did find a more reasonable choice but for a place that sells itself as a wine bar, there were scant options. We did appreciate being able to reserve on The Fork for a superb dinner at a tiny, hidden gem.

3.5/10Our experience was a mix of positives and negatives that merit a detailed account for potential clients. The summary is I would not recommend because of over priced food and rude attitude. Food: The food, on my part, was okay but did not quite meet expectations considering the price; my €16 zucchini salad was a simple dish that seemed overpriced. Service: Upon arrival, we were immediately informed, in a manner we perceived as unfriendly, that our failure to update our reservation from nine to six was inconvenient for the restaurant. We acknowledge this mistake on our part. Additionally, we were surprised when all of us ordering coffee that they told us "we only have 2 coffees left" as the restaurant just opened. When two of our group decided not to order food, the staff communicated in a way that felt dismissive emphasizing the policy of all guests needing to order to retain a table. This was followed by our meal being rushed, including receiving the bill and a request to leave just after serving me my desert, still untouched. While we understand the importance of restaurant policies, the approach taken felt unnecessarily harsh and unprofessional. In summary, we recognize our part in the misunderstandings due to not updating our reservation and not all of us ordering food. However, we felt the response from the restaurant staff could have been handled with more professionalism and kindness. They were plain rude.

6/10This restaurant was ok, but I did not like all dishes we got, spescially the octupus was too spicy. The Wine was very expencive and was not worth it. The Staff was ok, but not friendly when we came to the restaurant, We will not come back

4.5/10Hate to write a not good review as I love this place but the lunch service was abysmal compared to the dinner. It was freezing cold, no ambience stank of bleach and food arrived cold. A little embarrassed as I had raved about the service excellent food and cosy ambience to my friends but lunch wouldn't recommend at all, still nice to return for wine but everyone said they'd think twice before returning

9/10A not-to-be-missed restaurant if you're in the Barrio de las Letras vicinity. Wine selection is good, with choicy picks, service is informal but attentive, and food is always very good. We've been there three times and will return as dois as we're in Madrid again.

9/10We were grateful to find a table at Ganz wine bar at the last minute on a busy Saturday night in Madrid. The service was great, with good advice on wine options to pair our food choices and a nice and not-so-crowded environment. The food was good and medium-range in terms of prices.

8/10We ordered the medium plates - artichokes, scallops and tuna and a smaller version of the cheese plate for dessert - to have with our wines (by the glass). Delicious - particularly the artichoke dish! Service was a little slow at first but then very attentive - we were amazed there seemed to be only one server and sommelier. Good wine recommendations to accompany the dishes.
