10/10Superb food and service - we were a group of 6 and were looked after very well. Spice levels were adjusted for some of the party to ensure a great experience. Will definately be coming back to Guru.

9.5/10I was in Amsterdam for my birthday and had been told by friends I would struggle to get good Indian food (my favourite) in the Netherlands. How wrong they were!! After doing some research and seeing good reviews for the Guru I booked it for my Birthday meal. I’m so glad I did! Wonderful food and a wonderful evening made perfect by the lovely owner! Next time I’m in Amsterdam, I’ll be back!!!

9/10This is a terrific Indian restaurant with great service and atmosphere. Only reason I didn’t give the food five stars was the lamb tikka had gristly pieces along with the good pieces. The chicken tikka was outstanding, perfectly seasoned. Definitely recommend!

10/10We had some wonderful food and had papri bites for the first time and the dish was delicious. We shared the lamb vindaloo and the chicken Bhuna and both were very flavorful. The staff was friendly and attentive. Thank you for a wonderful night.

10/10I’d like to think I know a little about Indian food as I’ve been eating it on a regular basis for over 40 years. The food is of high quality and the drinks are not doctored, as you get in a lot of establishments. The service and the restaurant in general is excellent.

9.5/10The food was delicious. Delicate. Great, friendly staff. I would definitely recommend it. Personally, I would choose for lighting that gives more of an intimate ambiance. The lighting now for a dinner place in the evening is bright and warmth. For now it is my only point of improvement.

10/10This was an awesome find! We loved the ambiance!!! We went in for an early dinner around 6pm and it was decently empty at that time, nice and quiet, no disturbance. In terms of food, the taste was delicious!!! Must order Butter Chicken, my husband says it's the best his ever had!

8.5/10Decent size resturant with a very nice ambient. The service is good and kind waiters. The menu has a good variety of food and choices. We took the classic tandoori, masala etc. the quality of food is above average for Indian restaurant, although i would not define it excellent.
