6.5/10I was looking forward to eat at this restaurant. Whilst the people were amiable, the food quality is quite average. They are quite slow on the service (there were 6 tables) and you can hear a fight from the kitchen. For a romantic dinner this was not ideal

9.5/10Beautiful setting in an upscale hotel. Delicious dishes, grilled octopus, grilled salmon, entrecôte beef, croquettes but the Iberian pork loin was most superb of all. Service was good but could be a little more attentive. Price point was great for quality of food.

6.5/10We tried La Plassohla because of the good reviews/high ratings and were disappointed. Our server, while very nice and personable, was not very competent. Part of the order was wrong, part never arrived. We started with the Bravas. The potatoes were crispy and flavorful. We also had the Calamari. It was tender, not chewy, and the mayo was a nice accompaniment. It all blew up with the entrees. My wife ordered Hake and got tuna. I wanted a salad with my Iberian pork, but it didn't come. Our server was alone (when we arrived, she was also covering for the hostess), so we just accepted our fate rather than dragging out the evening. The tuna was ok, the pork was good. Overall, an average experience--not what was described in all the reviews.

10/10We came as a company to La Plassohla. They were very flexible on our needs and were very efficient into making things happen. You feel great in the restaurant and the food is excellent. Staff is efficient and very friendly. I can only recommend!

9/10Very pleasant restaurant, with a great ambience. The staff was excellent, with attentive yet discreet service. We enjoyed our food, but found some of the dishes slightly overpriced. Dessert and coffee were excellent.

10/10I've eaten here 4 times this visit to Barcelona, and on every occasion, the food has been exceptional. Add to that the ambiance is lovely and relaxed, the staff is friendly and efficient. My two favorite items are the octopus and the Dali Cheesecake. I highly recommend this restaurant!

10/10What a delightful experience! Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was spot on, and the ambiance was lovely. I started with the burrata and tomatoes with pesto which was delicious. Then I had the sirloin steak with foie gras, and it was perfection! And even though I was full I couldn't leave without trying the chocolate with hazelnut dessert, and it did not disappoint!

3/10The location is nice; unfortunately the service is bad, slow and not friendly. The staff seams unhappy to work there. I had to ask to have the TheFork discount because they brought me a full bill. The prices are very high by considering the quality of the food, but I have to say that I appreciated the Salvador Dalì cheesecake: very good looking and also tasty.

10/10Fantastic menu, Spanish with fusion flavours. Executed beautifully by the kitchen, timing was impeccable. The service was genuinely some of the best I’ve had in Spain or otherwise, very knowledgeable on the menu, attentive and engaging. All in all, very much so worth a visit if you’re in the area.

7/10Slow service with a lot of errors. Ordered a bottle of wine and sparkling water with two glasses, got a glass of wine and a glass of water. Coffee that was included in the lunch menu was added to the bill. Paid through Forkapp, they were not sure how to handle it. Food ok, atmosphere so so. Went to the rooftop later, it was brilliant :)

4/10The restaurant was rated highly which is why we went. Such a shame as the food was average but the service was dire. Largely ignored on arrival although we’d booked. Once seated, long wait for drinks and just felt everyone was to busy to care.

2/10Poor experience. We had been there 6 years ago and really appreciate the restaurant. This time very disappointing, too expensive for what it is, really not worth. Servers not friendly and unable to answer questions on the menu, my rice dish was too salty, and long wait before being served

6.5/10This restaurant is fine but isn’t great, with the price they charge I think food quality is lightly expensive. We ordered oysters- they were correct, then we have belly tuna salad and croquettes- they taste the same as those you can find in any bar or other restaurant, then i had the bluefin tuna for main course and it’s not available and they changed to filet which is pretty different, and then the entrecôte came without hot stone plate so everything is correct but nothing special or different than the other.

Metro Urquinaona (L1 y L4)
