10/10Dinner at Les Petits Oignons was better than those we have had at many Michelin star restaurants -- great food without the high prices. Order the four-course tasting menu and fall in love with the foie gras and chocolate, the lovely sauces and perfectly cooked scallops, the delightful service, and the well-selected and priced wine list!

8.5/10We loved the affordable Bib Gourmande menu, it was a nice way to try several dishes in an economical way. The restaurant is very pretty and the service is attentive. Quality ingredients even down to the butter, olive oil and salt in the table. We’ll come back and try some other things from the off the cart menu next time. We enjoyed gravlax, curry lentil soup, dorade over olive mash and beef carbonnades, Tiramisu and pavlova for dessert. Wine service is lovely as well.

10/105 stars all around. Great food and service. We had the last reservation for night and we weren’t rushed at all. If anything the servers really enjoyed chatting with us.

6.5/10This place was OK, but it had distinctive touristy feel to it. Even though the place was only half filled, and we had lunch there (and window for lunch is limited, so you are not likely, as a restaurant, be able to sit multiple parties one after another at the same table), we felt rushed. The food was just OK, and it felt like it was pre-prepared, and just warmed up as is, on the plate. All in all, it was still OK, but I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone

10/10A wonderful, classic dining experience. Professional staff from the host to the last server. The wine and drinks list is not expansive, but feels well chosen and matched to the menu. Whether you aim to charm or just want a good meal for business, friends of family.

10/10Amazing traditional French food and guest orientated service ( keeping an eye even on the small details). We had a fabulous evening with delicious food and great wines. We would definitely recommend the restaurant and go back.

9.5/10We tried to book the reservation through the Fork app; maybe we made this booking on the same day morning, but they didn’t get our booking from The Fork App; however, we seemed lucky again that they still could offer us a table two. I found a Google review that they had a confit duck leg, which i would like to taste it from a michelin star restaurant, but maybe the change their menu regualry so there was no luck to taste it this time. We order a fish soup and pan fried scallop as starters which bith were absolutely amazing and good. For the main, we had Monkfish and a chicken pastry. We like both of them, but we will say we had some better monkfish from the other; they are still very yummy and tasteful. And then we had a lungo coffee to finish our one-star Michelin experience.

6/10The waiter insisted we chose our dessert when ordering our starter and main course from the menu which is quite unusual . Only wine by the glass was available - bizarre. I had to ask for the chips that came with my meal after several minutes wait. The restaurant was simply unable to cope with the number of customers. It was only when looked around that we realised that other customers were having an equally unsatisfactory experience and it was not just us.

6.5/102 people took the oysters gratinee which were served with a sauce and still cold after second complaint. The fresh oysters for the others were ok. 2 people took sweetbread but this was dry and also cold inside together with the saus (cold) others took tagliatelle and apparently this was ok.

9.5/10Of all the restaurants we tried in Brussels we thought Les Petite Oignons was the only one good enough to visit twice. The food is classic French Bistro with matching ambiance; though the main level is far more convincing than the upstairs dining area. There is also outside seating though the weather may very well prevent its use; so I would not bank on that option. All dishes were well prepared and nicely presented. Service was very good but you may need to wait a bit during busy times. Prices are reasonable considering the city. I most certainly recommend this restaurant.

3.5/10Our table was very small all tables for two were same size. We ordered cocktails, appetizers and main. Asked for a glass of wine with main course. The appetizer was not fresh - eggplant Parmesan appeared reheated and not made that day. Main course of red mullet was flavourless. The other main, Saffron risotto was over cooked and the saffron overpowered it. Our wine came with the last forkful of main. Our waiter disappeared for a smoke break down the alleyway in view of patrons ( while we waited for our wine). Would not recommend.

7/10I didn't get the usual quality of the cuisine for a "bib gourmand" restaurant. It's more in the range of a good brasserie. The terrasse is on the street, which is a bit noisy due to the car traffic.

9.5/10Lovely restaurant, very well run with excellent staff. We didn’t have to wait a long time for our meals. The food was excellent, as was attention to detail. We were there for lunch and it felt relaxing to sit in a room full of light, watching the life of the city outside.
