To start, my husband loved his Pisco cocktail. We had excellent, attentive service from this one ebullient, upbeat waitress who clearly loves her job! I'm sorry I did not get her name, but she is unmatched by her obvious positive, fun attitude. She steered us to tasty starters (baby squid, smoked eel), a grilled fresh fish main dish, and a to-die-for cheesecake by their chef. We really enjoyed our last night in Lisbon with this wonderful seafood restaurant and a waitress with the best attitude ever. Only disappointment was the too-loud techno type of music, which did nothing to elevate the dining experience.

We had such an amazing black mouth fish here! It was a light and buttery white fish. We were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and our server, Caroline, made us feel so special. We were so grateful for this experience and for all the hospitality from the entire staff!

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The starter wasn't to my liking (too salty) but the main course and dessert were great. Regardless of the weather, I'd recommend indoor seating area for more cosiness. The interior design is really beautiful.

The food, drink and service was all outstanding. The portions are small, which is clear on the menu (and re-enforced by the servers), but that works to your advantage so you can try many dishes. Not a bite was less than great! Looking forward to next time.

We absolutely loved our dinner at Lota! The staff was so friendly and the food and cocktails were simply outstanding. We are a family of five with three tweenies/teenagers and everyone loved it. Highly recommend it.

First class service and very knowledgeable on all their fresh seafood. All of our fishes were cooked to perfection! Good selection of side to complement the mains. We loved the ambiance of the restaurant, we’ll be recommending this place to friends!

The people, the service, the food, it was all great! The cocktail (it’s called Coporino if I remember correctly) that is based on gin, thyme cucumber, basil and lemon is fantastic! The waiters are very friendly and will help you very fast if you have allergies. I recommend it to everyone who visit Lisbon!

Loved everything about it. We made a reservation based on an instagram suggestion and came with high expectations. Love the atmosphere, food, wine and service. If you’re going to Lisbon and are into seafood, don’t hesitate and make a reservation!

This restaurant was wonderful. The service was exceptional, as was the food. The cod cakes, ceviche and scallop were our favorites but everything we had was fresh with a great blend of flavors.

From the moment we walked in I knew this restaurant was going to be good. The staff were amazing, explaining all the food and the food itself was outstanding. You pay for what you get. We had 3 share plates and a main meal which was enough for me and my husband. I highly recommend this place.

Such a fantastic dining experience at Lota - from the wine recommendation, to the menu, to the quality of the service. Easily the best meal we had during a week in Lisbon, and we will be certain to recommend that any friends who visit the city dine here. The ambiance of the restaurant was refreshing - quiet, but a fun and engaging dining experience - with excellent food. I'd recommend the grilled prawns and ceviche to any diner. Looking forward to returning on my next trip to the city. Obrigado!

The service was absolutely on point as was the pacing of the meal. The tuna carpaccio was excellent but the much praise ceviche was lacking in flavor in spite of dragging the amberjack through everything else of the plate. The tempura green beans “little fishes” were crisp but unremarkable. The shrimp “hot dog” was served in an incredible brioche bun that made us wish the fish had lived up to the texture and flavor profile of the bun. The skate was also flavorful but honestly the sauce tasted more like a heavy gravy than something to be served with such a delicate fish. The cheesecake was a highlight as expected, but honestly not sure why this spot receives such rave reviews? With so many choices in Lisboa this was probably a “one and done” for us. We may consider it for lunch in the future.

Just visited Lota Sea&Fire today for lunch. I had heard about it for some time and wanted to try it out. So so glad i did! I had some of the most delicious fish options i ever tried... The Tuna Carpaccio and the Bacalhau Tempura were definitely my favourites! But also the Lirio Ceviche was absolutely fantastic! Honestly...i didn't even try the main dishes becouse i really wanna go again and again and again!! Congratulations guys! Absolutely delightful experience! The place is also very well decorated calling to the sea environment and the staff is really nice!

If there was 6 or even 7 stars to give, that would definitely be my score! We went there for my husband’s birthday and we were immediately greeted with a very warm “Happy Birthday”. This is the kind of things that only the best service can provide. Carol was impeccable in providing suggestions and making sure that our night was memorable. And the service, as incredible as it is… is not the highest note of this restaurant. The food… is to die for! So creative, so flavourful and with so much freshness that I’m planning on spending the better part of my summer at their lovely outside area. Thank you for the whole team in making this night extremely pleasant.
