10/10We have been to Louro before and looked forward to returning. It's a gem. Friendly, attentive service, a great menu, good wine list, very affordable. On our recent visit, they were short staffed, but this only meant that they moved rapidly and efficiently to deliver the same quality of service. We will also include dinner at Louro when we visit Barcelona. One thing if you go. it is upstairs, and it is easy to walk by the entry if you're looking above the door for the restuarant's name. Don't. it is verticle on the left side of the door. Climb the stairs and you've arrived. Great place!

3/10Service was non-existent and food was uninspiring. Both the scallops dish and the suckling pig had identical accompaniments - a thin layer of mashed potatoes. Listening to the conversation of the surrounding diners, this is definitely a tourist trap. Take yourselves away from the restaurants on la Rambla and find better food in other áreas of Barcelona.

Hi Joan, We were waiting for your review, as we expected it to be just as pleasant as your visit. You nailed it! You probably won’t come back, but in case you are thinking about it, here are some tips: 1st. Arrive on time and sober to your dinner reservation. 2nd. Don’t use the F. word when speaking with the staff. 3rd. Be gentle with the staff and don’t call them a “stup.... idio...” under any circumstances. 4th. Control your anger and don’t smash another two glasses of wine against the table, shattering to pieces. 5th. Kindly exit the restaurant without bothering the other tables who are enjoying their meal. This answer was just for you. However, as clarification for your readers, just 2 things to add. Total of your bill: 48.50 € ( 2 starters, main course &bottle of wine). Your table was at the corner, the table beside yours (for 4 people) was free on purpose (we always think in the comfort of the other costumers). That makes difficult you hear the “tourist trap” story that you mentioned.

10/10The ambiance was very welcoming from the first step. Nice stuff, very kind and fliendly. The food was yummy, and it did not take a long time to wait. We had steak and octopus as main. Both were melting in the mouth. Scallops for starters were okeish, my personal opinion, the sauce can be better, doesn't add to the dish. And cheesecake - one of the best ones I ever had, heavily 😋 Aleksandrs, Rafael, Rami, and one more person, whose name didn't write down (sorry), were really nice and made us feel part of the gang. Loved it and will be back definitely, once visiting Barcelona again.

10/10I researched a lot of restaurants before our trip to Barcelona which is where I came across Louro. I am so glad I found it because it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had! The service was outstanding and the food was over the top!!

7/10Not really fancy, but not cheap. Wine recommendation utterly failed with no or little acidity. No depth in knowledge of wines and aspiring. Foods were adequate, some too salty and some tasty. Price is not on cheap side. For me, once is enough restaurant! Sorry to say.

10/10This restaurant is hard to find. They have a tiny sign outside a residential building on Las Ramblas. Be aware of this. We arrived at 7pm and were the first people there. We had tapas and paella. Everything was really good and the service was amazing. We would definitely go back.
