7.5/10Overall the restaurant is pretty good. I had the Ladies’ Filet and it was very nice. It was seasoned and cooked medium rare as I requested. Service was truly wonderful . I would definitely recommend this place as an “American” steak restaurant to be enjoyed with family and friends.

10/10We celebrated my son’s birthday, he enjoys a good steak. I am vegetarian myself but I am certainly going back! The food was of great quality and the service surpassed my expectations - Orhan had a real passion for the job and made our experience memorable.

10/10Beautiful food and restaurant. This was hands down the best meal we ate whilst in Amsterdam and we couldn’t fault a single thing. Highly recommend a visit here if you’re in Amsterdam.

9.5/10food was nothing but top class, the service equally as good. food cooked exactly the way we ordered and seated perfectly for the occasion. 4 pints, sparkinling water, mineral water. 300gram steak 2 sides burger 1 side and starter 141 euros. amazing for the price complimentary bread and lovely roasted marshmallow as-well free of charge. couldn’t recommend enough

7/10A grill restaurant with no grill . Steaks are cooked on a hot plate which diminishes greatly the flavor of the meat . I returned the lobster bisque which looked and tasted nothing like a lobster bisque . I thought I would be safe with the beef carpaccio but unfortunately it was inedible . Prepared with aged fatty rib eye meat which is the opposite of what a carpaccio should be . The freshest cut beef fillet ! Marriott grills usually hold the highest standards throughout the world . Unfortunately this one is run by under qualified cooks trying to reinvent traditional dishes .

3/10It’s difficult to opine measurably as we had an excellent waiter and eventually the food was excellent. The problem arose when it took nearly 90 minutes to get served our food order. We were not told why there was a delay but was told by our waiter that they would comp all our drinks. When the steaks arrived, they were all cold, my son was so hungry he ate his whereas I sent mine back. The chips were also cold, however the other sides were hot as expected. Eventually my wife sent her steak back as well. My steak was medium rare so when i received it back it was still ok to eat, whereas my wife had a medium fillet, so when it returned it was well done and not that edible. The waiter advised us that the whole meal will be comp. I would however say that our waiter was excellent albeit very embarrassed. The hot food that was served was excellent, my steak once hot was also excellent, the wine was also very nice. I would return as I think this is probably one of the better steak restaurants in the city and probably just had a bad few hours for our particular order as all other diners seemed happy.

10/10Food was amazing. Corine our host was attentive and polite. We waited 35 mins for our main but it was great not to feel rushed. The cheesecake was a little mushy. We ordered the chateubriand. I did feel that for 84€, it could have came with some sides. The meat comes with sauces which were all fabulous. Again, for €88 I would have expected some fries/vegetables. Overall I would definitely return and we were very happy with our meal.

10/10One of the best stakehouse I have visited! The steak showcase was a very nice intro to the various types of beef cuts. Steaks cooked to perfection, excellent service! The final marshmallows desert was a very nice touch!

10/10We’ve had several breakfasts, the weekend brunch and dinner here. All have been fabulous. The dinner was one of the best meals I have ever had with a bone in ribeye and assorted vegetables. Still I liked the breakfast buffet best. It came with our room at the Marriott.

8/10Nice atmosphere, and excellent food. Had to wait a little too long for our drinks when first seated and could see staff were focused on getting meals out to a very large group who were dining at this time. Once they had handled the rush the service was excellent and the meal was faultless. Nice touch at the end of the meal giving us some sweet marshmallows to toast.

10/10I was taken by my partner for my birthday and the food was absolutely amazing! By far THE best steak we have EVER had! We had the Tomahawk steak sharer with sides of fries and Mac & cheese (which were also delicious) Our servers for the evening were brilliant, attentive and took the time to make a fuss for my Birthday! Would 100% recommend here!

10/10the food was amazing. It's a set menu so you can try things that normally you wouldn't order. There are four courses and all of the food is prepared and served beautifully. It was all really tasty, would definitely recommend.

5/10Let me start by saying that the service is absolutely impeccable and this review has nothing to do with the staff. The entire staff from the moment that we walked in the door was exceptional and Claudia provided outstanding service. The reason for the two rating is that the food was mediocre at best. The steaks including the dry aged steaks all had a great presentation, but had zero flavor and one of the most disappointing parts is that all of the food… Everything… Was served at room temperature. That’s not to say the food was warm, it was not warm it was room temperature to cool. Also, none of the side dishes had any flavor whatsoever. There were no spices or anything added to any of the food which for a restaurant of this quality I was expecting something special from the food, a culinary experience which we did not get. TripAdvisor has this restaurant rated as the number three restaurant in Amsterdam and it is nowhere close to that, Not even in the top 1000. We have been here for a week and have had great food at some amazing local restaurants. You would be much happier if you stayed uptown and avoided Midtown Grill altogether.

10/10As an Italian, i reali raccomand this Restaurant For a special day. Probably the best place to have a wonderful night, the food was howsome and For the costs at the end, it’s not that much and totaly whort it. GO THERE GLI ITALIANI MANGIANDO BENE LA.
