7/10The first time i went to Nikkei the food was phenomenal, it was worth the price. Because of that experience i decided to book at Nikkei again to celebrate our anniversary, but this time the food was different than before, the quality was less for the same price or even more expensive (understandable, inflation after COVID). I was disappointed because i wanted to share the authentic jap-peruvian fusion with my partner who got to taste it for the first time and i was let down....

10/10Stunning sushi in a lovely setting but the highlight for me was the tiradito. I have never tasted anything as complex and subtle. This restaurant is a must visit.

9/10A bit noisy for a romantic evening. Food was great, successful fusion of peruvian and japanese gastronomy. Staff is very friendly, it was our first time so we asked for platters recommendation. Recommendations were on point. Price quality ratio is quite acceptable. Would definitely try new platters next time.

9.5/10Super welcoming staff, great food (the portion can be a bit small for guys), just a bizarre gender-inclusive washroom with translucent doors. I'd definitely come back again and try other menus. The menu del dia is such a delight!

4/10Honestly we found the food to terrible and canceled our order after the first 2 uramaki. Worse than supermarket sushi. The Pisco sours were awesome though and the waiter and manager accepted that we didn’t want anything else without making a fuss.

2/10Worst experience we’ve had in a while. I asked for some appetizers (because our food was taking so long) and the answer I got from the waiter: I have nothing to give to you for free. (I hadn’t even asked to get anything for free). They told us the food was going to be ready soon but we got to finish our wine before we started eating. When we got to try the food, we found it dissappointing and not at all worth paying what it costs so we cancelled the other dishes we ordered. I do not reccomend this restaurant and will never come back of course.

9.5/10It was great! Try the acevichado makis. I was apprehensive at first but then I tried it and it was great. They also changed some of the menu because my wife was allergic to shellfish.

La fusión entre la cocina japonesa y la peruana llega a Barcelona de la mano de este restaurante. Multitud de sabores, olores y texturas que se reflejan en los sabrosos uramakis, los espectaculares niguiris, las originales gyozas de cochinillo al horno o el sabroso rissotto a la huancaína. Desde su estupenda cocina abierta puedes ver cómo se preparan todos y cada uno de los platos de su carta. Totalmente obligatorio hincarle el diente al ceviche nikkei de atún con leche de tigre, el nigiri de atún toro con juliana de shiso, yakisoba de langostinos con pasta de té verde picante, las ostras en tempura o el ají amarillo. ¡Atrévete con todos!
Te aconsejamos preguntar por el nivel de picante de los platos ya que muchos de ellos pican de lo lindo.
