6.5/10The food came very quickly, but it was over priced for the quality of it, the fried options were very oily. If there was not a -30% discount I would not recommend.

6/10We obviously had a reservation upon arrival we waited without any attention from staff which was passing by without interest then we asked if we could sit outside a waiter said yes. We sat for 20mn no contact from outside staff then when we dared ask a bouncer like waiter his demeanor and way of talking almost made us leave such a shame as the food was good. We then were ordered to go inside with by the same unhinged staffer as if we were supposed to know that food was not served outside

10/10Excellent dinner at La Carmela. We ordered a chevre salad, veal cheeks, sea bass and fideua and everything was top notch. Too bad we didn’t leave room for desert but we at least tried the flan and it was delicious. Julian was a wonderful host and his suggestions were spot on. The white one helped a everything settle in . Wonderful night .

7/10Very nice address. But they were not sincere regarding the portion. We ordered the Entercote (1kg) as mentioned on the menu at 46euros and we got a piece of maximum 300-400grs. Not fair. In addition they added services on the bill we didn’t order.

2/10This is the worst place I have ever been in my entire life. NEVER I have been treated so badly. We had an issue with the payment and instead of looking for a solution, the managers of the place had the audacity to acuse me and my partner of wanting to steal from them and called us the police. They showed in one meal everything that is wrong whenever you treat with a customer in a moment that required smart solution and not stupid problems. Of course I will never go back to it and frankly I am dissapointed in all the aspect of the word with this restaurant and the members of it. I would like to clarify that the waiter that attended us had nothing to do with this issue, he was kind and had a grear service. But their managers no NOTHING about managing a place and tresting people like actual human beings.

9.5/10Really nice Taberna/Restaurant on one of the side streets next to Sol but tucked away from the big crowds. Went there for a late lunch with 30% off from the fork and were not disappointed. Although prices are not the cheapest, its the standard level of downtown Madrid. The food was really nice and it didn´t feel like the any tourist trap at all. In fact, we could only hear Spanish language around us. Really enjoyed it. Thank you!

7.5/10A nice option close to Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor. We order red sangria, house wine (Rioja), croquetas, and seafood paella. The portions were reasonable and the flavor was on point. We will return!
