10/10Lovely ambience with candles on the tables. The service was impeccable. The food was exquisite. I had the ravioli and my friend had the octopus. The wine was good. We were given free mint Prosecco and fried bread upon arrival. Prices were reasonable. We shall return!

10/10For American (or other English speaking) diners, there can be much lost in translation. It might be a good idea to ask the server to slowly recite the order back in English …. Just to minimize surprises. A GREAT neighborhood (and sought out) joint!

10/10This is my most favourite restaurant in Rome and I always dine here when I am visiting . It never disappoints . The food, ambience and feel good factor are great . Another lovely evening .

10/10Attentive service, wide variety of choices, delicious food, and generous portions of dessert (order the cookies!). Disappointed didn’t get a chance to see the owner this time :( although we will be back!

10/10The staff, atmosphere and food were the best we experienced in Rome! Absolutely wonderful dining experience and we would recommend without hesitation. Even though we don’t speak Italian, the staff went out of their way to ask if we had any questions and to make us feel comfortable.

6.5/10Booked a table for one. Although the restaurant was far from full early evening, the staff was not welcoming at all. No-one asked how the food was. And when I paid the check, the staff 'thanked' me not even looking at me. And I exited the restaurant without a single thanks or goodbye. The food was nice but if you are dining alone, dine somewhere else where they do acknowledge you as a human being.

10/10The interior is elegant, the staff are friendly and skilful. We ate there twice and they remembered us (and where we had sat) after a gap of three weeks. The menu has the standards plus interesting options like a list of lighter dishes and all the ones we ordered were nicely cooked and presented. This restaurant is now one of our favourite restaurants in Rome.

2.5/10This restaurant is probably nice if you are not a tourist. The waiters clearly looked on us and laughed, and in general rolled eyes on us. All the other (Italian) tables got champagne and a type of bread, but meanwhile we got pushed by some bread for 6 Euro. The eggplant parmigiana was good, and the hamburger was decent, but the risotto was horrible. It felt like it’s a canned version. I switched to another pasta that was just nice (and they didn’t charged for the risotto) . I noticed Italians in general prefer locals in restaurants, but this was really a little too much.

10/10Great local spot! Service was very friendly; and kind to English-speakers (Menus available in English) even though this was definitely not a tourist attraction. The table side Tiramisu topped off a delicious dinner! Highly recommend.

10/10This is really lovely food with a great atmosphere . Lots of lovely extra touches of welcome drinks , appetisers, etc all served by charming and welcoming staff like Ellie and Simone make it a real joy ! My favourite European restaurant !

8/10The food was excellent and the table service was very good. I was disappointed and embarrassed by our reception though. I had booked through The Fork app and I had recommended La Barchetta to my visiting friends. I have been there on a number of occasions. However when we arrived we were told we had no reservation and were left standing. I had the confirmation only phone but even still we stood for a while. It may not have been long but when you have friends with you it was embarrassing!

10/10Very beautiful and cozy restaurant, friendly and welcoming staff. They greeted us with a glass of bubbly wine, a mini appetizer of fried coated sage leaves which was delicious and then our meal was also very tasty! Great find!

10/10We booked online last minute on Wednesday night based on the positive reviews on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. We found really friendly staff and the complimentary glass of Prosecco and pieces of fried and sage bread on arrival were a nice touch. The food and wine was lovely and the waiters were very attentive. The complimentary homemade chocolate orange pieces that were brought around for us to try were absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend coming to Trattoria Della Barchetta, the food was lovely, the staff very welcoming and the prices very reasonable. I would suggest booking in advance though as every table was taken when we came to leave.

9/10Our meal was delicious, only exception - the grilled calamari my husband had was very tough, not just chewy but tough. Everything else we ate was truly exceptional. I had the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. If we lived in Rome we would definitely return again and again!
