2/10It’s actually insulting when a french chef gives you stale bread. Did he think we would not notice because we have American accents? We came late for our lunch reservation, although we called to say we were running late and were told it was fine. We were ignored by the staff for another 15 minutes after we arrived and only after we were seated were we told that the lunch menu was done. We could pick some snack foods. So we ordered the “local cuisine” plate when we were told it has saucisson, which it did not. It had prosciutto, which doesn’t seem very local. Honestly, how did this place earn a Michelin Star? Where is the attention to detail? One of the worst meals I’ve had in all of France. Stay away from this sad castle.
