5.5/10the food was good but not worth the price. the staff didn't speak portuguese and took to long to pay attention to us and our order. the restaurant was dark and really smokey and smelly, our eyes were burning because of the smoke.

10/10The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious and the atmosphere was amazing. Not very crowded, playing jazz in the background and very comfortable. Nevertheless I would recommend to book a reservation specially with The Fork so you get a discount as it's can be a bit expensive. But overall I really enjoyed it and would definitely return.

10/10Delicious food with a modern twist, and a great choice if you're looking for gluten-free options — everything is clearly marked and the staff are knowledgeable. We had a reservation for 7 PM and were seated right away. Service was friendly and dinner was well-paced — relaxed but efficient. The flaming chorizo was a fun and flavorful highlight, and the octopus over nero potato was beautifully cooked and very satisfying. While there’s no dedicated kids menu or obvious child-friendly options, the experience was smooth and enjoyable for our group.

We started with the shrimp sautéed in garlic, simply outstanding. Perfectly cooked, plump shrimp, with a fragrant yet balanced garlic oil, and sweet tomatoes that brought harmony to every bite. The codfish with corn bread crust was a masterclass in tradition and texture: crispy on top, moist and delicate inside. The grilled octopus with black potato purée was technically impeccable. Tender yet crisp, with a smoky depth, beautifully contrasted by the rich, creamy ink-infused mash. The braised tuna with grilled vegetables and teriyaki sauce, topped with sesame seeds, was a fusion delight, seared outside, silky inside, resting on vibrant, al dente vegetables. To drink, a classic Negroni, balanced, bold, and fragrant with fresh orange peel. A perfect match to the meal. The setting is warm and stylish: stone walls, bookshelves, plants, and vintage touches create an intimate, inviting atmosphere. The service was flawless, attentive, professional, and genuinely kind.

I usually give 10/10… I don’t give it now because i find it odd that i am not allowed to open my computer for 5 minutes only… and the the fork discount usually includes everything not only the food… But apart from that the food was incredible and the location is very cute

6/10The location is a bit difficult due to the high altitude. The ambiance is nice, though. The food is very avarage. Prices are a bit high for the taste. But the most negatively critical comment would go to the waiters - they did not check anyone unless someone calls them (even though the place was not crowded they were rather slow) and they were not very hospitable. We came across sullen faces.

The ambience really did it for me. The playlist was very appropriate and at the perfect tone, the mood was all in sync and the decoration is pretty nice. I only ate the Poke Bowl and I'm not giving it 5 starts because it didn't feel as much as a Poke Bowl, and more of plain rice with the stuff on top, but it wasn't bad.

10/10Small and cozy place with open kitchen and amazingly friendly staff. The width of the menu seems to exceed the size of the restaurant, and still everything we ordered was finished to perfection and everyone got what their taste deserved.

7/10We had New Year’s dinner there with a preset menu, which was understandable. What was unacceptable, however, was being served undercooked salmon—twice. We enjoy sashimi and sushi, but there’s a clear difference between those dishes and what we received. Serving salmon that’s frozen and raw on the inside while burned on the outside is simply not acceptable.

7/10The staff was very friendly, though none seemed to speak Portuguese, at least natively. The food was quite basic, service was fast but I wouldn't recommend the value for money. it's very practical that they serve non stop between lunch and dinner time, would recommend not driving there as parking is just about impossible.

Cosy little all day fusion brunch place. Fresh ingredients, vegan and vegetarian options. If you ended here while looking for Portuguese food it is not. lovely staff albeit had to get their attention to take our orders. Good place for a quick bite even if alone.

10/10The food here was excellent, our best meal in Lisbon by a mile. This gem is off the beaten track but so worth the walk. Proper chefs wearing chefs white hats, cooked our meal while we sat and enjoyed a beer and Aperol spritz. So many places are just a step away from being fast food joints but 28 Restaurante excelled. Our waiter had a good sense of humour and was attentive. Bruschetta was fab as was the chicken tacos and spaghetti with prawns. All freshly cooked and delicious. Full marks and we’ll be back.

6/10Nothing special about the food, I'd have expected a more brunch style meal but the eggs and bacon were about what you'd get in a diner and the pancakes weren't fluffy at all
