10/10We loved everything about this restaurant. We are normally pescatarians, but this place was a pleasant change. Make no mistake, this food is top quality and they can compare easily to many good quality restaurants. Service is great, ambiance was pleasant and fun, dishes were well presented and truly interesting in their flavours. If you dine here, I think you will remember the experience.

4.5/10The service was OK, the food was well priced. We felt the starters lacked flavour and the mains (steak and traditional Portuguese dish) were just lacking. They were very plain, lots of rice and potatoes and didn't wow us.

10/10What an excellent surprise. After reading reviews i booked a table for 4. Interesting vegan cuisine where the tradional Portuguese dishes have a vegan interpretation. Peixinhos da Horta and Bitoque where spot on excellence. Also i have to mention the daily juice was very well crafted. Deserts where very very good with little or no sweet taste. Excellent service and very kind. I will return soon!

10/10This restaurant is everything it promises to be. The food tastes quite great and from the looks of the dishes it really seems like you are eating traditional Portuguese food. I plan to go back as soon as I have the chance. Also consider it to be a budget-friendly option, with very kind staff.

9/10I ate "rolo de carne". It was meatloaf with potato pure and pistachio. It was really tasty. The strawberry and ginger lemonade was refreshing. For dessert I ate chocolate mouse with salame pieces. Everything was real gold.

10/10The Service was really nice and fast. They took care very well and were very friendly! The food was delicious. Very good spices were used and you cant tell that it was vegan. A very good consistence and taste. Nice ambiente, but maybe they could dim the light a bit.

10/10We went to celebrate our anniversary, and it couldn’t have gone better. From the sympathetic staff to the great service, A Minha Avó is a hidden gem (to us, up until that point) that deserves another visit. I had the Bitoque à Portuguesa, while my partner chose their Meat Loaf with caramelized plums. They were both unique and delicious. For dessert, we chose the Doce da Casa and Grandma’s Pastel de Nata.

10/10I’m so happy I got this place recommended because I was looking for traditional food, without animal products. The food and staff were amazing. My friends asked me if I was sure it was plant based because it looked so close to egg and steak. Highly recommended!

10/1008/2023: Excellent Service, menu and food. The Starters were very good. The vegan "eggs" on many mains are definitely a highlight. The desert "Doce da casa" was extremely good. Very good prices for this quality. Nothing more to say. Obrigado. ;)
