The restaurant is about Fado on Thursday evenings. We were here for the first time a year ago and arranged a trip from the US this year specifically to be at A Nini on Thursday evening. The music is SPECTACULAR even if you’re not Portuguese and don’t have the language. Small, intimate setting with others there who know and love the songs makes it perfect. We’ll be back!!

Great food, felt like eating among locals as we were the only tourists. The chef was very kind and she served us herself by presenting the menu of the day translated in English🧡 The only down part was that it seems they allow people to smoke inside which was very weird as it is a close place with air conditioning and no opened windows. It kinda ruined the mood and the food of course tastes different when someone smokes cigars next to you :( But we told her and she told the guest, even though he continued lol Regardless, great experience 🙏🏽

Everything was perfect!!! Food, service, Fado music. Definitely recommend. It was packed with local people which tells you it is good.

This is the real thing. Rather than a highly commercialized venue, A Nini is a neighborhood restaurant serving well prepared food in a comfortable setting, while featuring local talent. The experience was memorable and we hope to be back.

This is not an ordinary restaurant where they only serve food, this place gave me an incredible culinary and musical feast that I cannot describe in words. The atmosphere in this place was magical, I recommend it to anyone who wants to feel the real atmosphere of Portugal. My highest recommendations! Thank you, Nini.

The restaurant was a great little gem. The set menu was a great price and the seabass tasted amazing (note, it did not include drinks). The service was friendly and fast. The fado started around 10pm and went on for hours - it was beautiful and the ambience really added to the music.
