10/10We are from Canada and it was recommended by a friend. It did not disappoint. Friendly service, food delicious and atmosphere was authentic and superb! I would recommend to everyone!

10/10This is a quintessential, small family run Portuguese restaurant. We enjoyed it so much, we ate there three times in a three week span. This is Portuguese comfort food. We loved the grilled sea bream, grilled octopus, and the soups. The service is efficient and friendly. Reservations are a must since the restaurant only seats about twenty diners. It is cash only, and I would go back again and again.

10/10We read about Primavera do Jeronimo in Rick Steve's Portugal book. It was as advertised, a great authentic Portugese restaurant. We had salt cod and monkfish both cooked perfectly. It is a small cozy restaurant where the chefs work in a small kitchen but everything seems to work. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon.

10/10Authentic traditional little Portuguese restaurant with beautiful tiling on the walls . Hasn’t changed in the many years we having been going there . Food always reliable and very good value for money. We had excellent sardines and guilthead bream . Wine excellent too .

10/10Small, intimate space with delicious sea food and meat dishes (veg. option too) and all that provided by kind, smiling and rightfully proud crew. No music, far enough from noisy main streets but still in the heart of the city. Felt like home in the best of ways.

10/10Great home cooking with warm service is what you can expect at this small intimate traditional eatery. The ladies in the kitchen create magic that feels like home. The meat dishes were very tasty. Their credit card machine was out of service when we dined so make sure you have cash to cover. We did splurge for the “Good” Wine - very tasty at €12 a bottle.

6/10Half of the dishes were average. Cheesecake was horrible. Lady did not even ask “whats up” when she saw the untouched cheesecake :) Shrimp was delicious.

9/10Best meal in Lisbon. Homemade monkfish rice. Hearty, savory with shrimps. Crème dissertation to die for. Very reasonable. Loved it. My husband enjoyed his lamb chops with home made fries.

7.5/10This is a very small restaurant with limited seating and very much in demand. The appies and meal were served extraordinarily fast and close together so no time to savour things unfortunately. We had ordered a full bottle of wine but because we were a "first seating" we felt a lot of pressure to drink up and leave as second seating guests were stacking up at the door. To be fair our hosts did not ask us to hurry up but asked us to move and join the lone guest at the next table in order to free up our table for two. Bottom line our food was good and service fast but we feel the restaurant is too aggressively booked for our tastes to have allowed for a better appreciation of our meal and overall experience.

10/10Hidden gem. Like home cooking. We started w olives, cow’s milk cheese (fresh mozzarella taste) and bread rolls on the table that the children loved. Dinner was monkfish moonfish salmon and a steak. All delicious. Fresh. Not salty. served to us w friendly attention. Good prices, cash only. And the cold beer hit the spot on a 98F/30C day in Lisbon!

10/10The restaurant is so unique and special! Small space very cozy and authentic!! Like eating your moms cooking. Husband runs the front taking orders and serving while the wife cooks each meal FRESH to order in the kitchen. Most amazing experience!! Already planning to go back before leaving Lisboa. It's a MUST TRY!! Don't wait, go if your ever in Lisboa, best by far!! Thank you!!

10/10This restaurant is one of the highlights of our trip to Lisbon! A small, authentic restaurant with absolutely delicious traditional Portuguese food. The service was great as well. We had the Octopus Rice, Grilled Octopus, Bacalau, Sliced Pork Cutlet and Steamed Clams. All were outstanding. Get a reservation, there was a line out in the street when we left.

9/10Really nice little restaurant, very relaxed atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. Has a very “local” feel and not at all a tourist joint. Our meals were tasty and everything was clearly very fresh. We had an EXCELLENT bottle of red wine from the Douro Valley.

10/10Very tasteful, we choose octopus, pork and stuffed squid. All the plates was good, and my husband want to come back to try a typical dish (alheira). I really recommend the wine's house. Cheers!!!
