Very tiny, but very authentic and delicious! We were there in 96 degrees Fahrenheit yet managed to have a fabulous dinner without A/C! Best octopus we’ve ever had!

cocktails and mussles were amazing!

Maybe one of the best selections of the vermut in town. Clams and mussels are fresh and delicious. Love the seafood rice. Rich and good quality. Want to visit again

Favourite tasca in Lisboa. So cosy and welcoming with great music and warm attentive staff.

Loved the atmosphere and the energy of staff. Food and wine was very tasty, it was also great to find vegetarian choices on the menu. I am impressed by the quality of food, it was the best Tasca I’ve ever been.

This may be our favorite restaurant in Lisbon. In 2023, we went three times during a two week stay, and we went twice during our week this past month of May. The proprietor and server were wonderful, friendly and even provided extra tastes of Madeiran wine and Port. The food is always delicious and the atmosphere friendly and intimate. We felt almost like locals! If we lived in Lisbon, it would definitely be a regular dining spot for us. We especially loved the fish (Sea bream?), Cuttle Fish, Octopus... and the White Negronis! Cheese and olives were delicious too.

Amazing food, did get food poisoning. 100% sure it was from the octopus as everything else that day was shared by everyone in my party.
A Primavera do JerónimoHello Christina, We’re very sorry to hear you felt unwell, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Please know that our octopus is bought fresh daily from our long-trusted supplier at Mercado da Ribeira, coming directly from Algarve. This care is taken precisely to ensure that situations like this never happen. That said, we’ll be sure to inform our supplier and take all necessary precautions. Thank you again for reaching out — we hope you’re feeling better and that we’ll have the chance to welcome you again soon. Warm regards, A Primavera do Jerónimo

Food was really good and cosy atmosphere made this evening a special moment of my visit of Lisbon. definitely recommend and will come again. Also I enjoyed wine 🍷 people are friendly and i realised that many locals were there, so it means for me - this is rare real place.

This cozy restaurant has great food and even better manager/severs. They were extremely helpful in explaining food items and making suggestions.. Their cheerful attitude made the evening special. We even went back there the next day. Highly recommended.

This small tasca is amazing. You can feel like you are in time travel. In 1939 Josephine Baker had dinner there (there is a photo of her with signiture). Grilled octopus was outstanding. Prices are good. I highly recommend.

We are from Canada and it was recommended by a friend. It did not disappoint. Friendly service, food delicious and atmosphere was authentic and superb! I would recommend to everyone!

This is a quintessential, small family run Portuguese restaurant. We enjoyed it so much, we ate there three times in a three week span. This is Portuguese comfort food. We loved the grilled sea bream, grilled octopus, and the soups. The service is efficient and friendly. Reservations are a must since the restaurant only seats about twenty diners. It is cash only, and I would go back again and again.
A Primavera do JerónimoThanks!

We read about Primavera do Jeronimo in Rick Steve's Portugal book. It was as advertised, a great authentic Portugese restaurant. We had salt cod and monkfish both cooked perfectly. It is a small cozy restaurant where the chefs work in a small kitchen but everything seems to work. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon.
A Primavera do JerónimoThanks!

Small, intimate space with delicious sea food and meat dishes (veg. option too) and all that provided by kind, smiling and rightfully proud crew. No music, far enough from noisy main streets but still in the heart of the city. Felt like home in the best of ways.
