10/10This was our first time seeing Fado in Portugal, and it was wonderful! The food, service, decor was great, and the music just added to the experience. It was our last night in Portugal, and I’m so glad we spent it at A Severa.

10/10The bottle music was great, we got to hear the first to ask and then we left, but the food was excellent as well. The ambience was wonderful and the wait staff was very attentive. Absolutely will do again!

10/10It was my first time in a Fado restaurant listening to live music, loved the atmosphere really cozy with great singers! The service was really good the staff are very friendly and attentive and the food was fenomenal, I would definitely repeat the experience!

10/10Fantastic evening of Fado! The meal was excellent— the duck rice ( in a mild mushroom rizotto) was the winner of the evening, but the rack of lamb was a close second. For appetizers the Portuguese sausage was very interesting (some apple and cinnamon in it, the sausage was very soft), and the garlic fried prawns were very good. The crowd at the restaurant was composed of at least 50% Portuguese patrons who were clearly fans of this place and sang along! That is a clear endorsement of this establishment and the Fado presented.

9/10The six of us had a wonderful experience at this restaurant with beautiful fado singers. Great service too. We would have loved to know what they were singing about, but we didn’t understand Portuguese. Definitely recommend this place.

10/10It’s clearly a touristic restaurant so what! The food is delicious and the Fado was grand. Keep in mind the music starts at 9 and finishes about 11, with pauses here and there. Also you have a minimum of 40 euro consumption.

10/10The staff were super nice and the environment is excellent, with Fado live singing from in 15/20 minutes apart from each other. The food was very tasty as well. Really recommend the experience.

10/10Great food and great Fado. Some reviews had folks saying food was overpriced, but when you consider the cost of the entertainment it was reasonably priced. Unfortunately folks expect everything to be free.

10/10Very good food, ample portions and excellent service. Perfomers mostly very good as well, the only minus was the first one, who made the audience sing ”yes, oui, ja” etc. So unpleasant and embarrassing, when people have come to listen fado.

9/10We were in Lisbon for a few nights and wanted to experience an authentic Fado performance. We arrived at the 7:45 pm recommended time, and were greeted and served from an a la carte menu. The soups were delicious, as was the sangria and the rice pudding . I chose the steak with potatoes and broccolini, which was very plain and needed seasoning. My husband had the lamb and really enjoyed it. My vegetarian daughter had a vegetable & egg dish that was good, but not great. The performance was good, as was the service & atmosphere. The show began, after our dinner was served, with a female singer, then a break, then a male singer, another break, and a set by just the 2 guitarists. We left around 9:30 pm, although we could have stayed longer, but we had some other things that we wanted to see nearby. Overall, a very nice evening experience.

9.5/10Great food, great atmosphere, amazing music, and staff were nice and spoken English well. I think that was the best time and the best food I’v had since I came to Portugal. I highly recommend it. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.

9/10We booked this place before our trip because it was highly recommended and now I recommend it to you. A very good combination to get acquainted with Fado and Portuguese kitchen at the same time! The Fado performance starts from 9pm and the best time to arrive there is around 8:40 just like us, after ordering the dishes, we straightly started enjoying the show, then enjoyed our food during the intervals.

10/10Although recommended, we were inclined not to do a Fado dinner show but our itinerary opened and we didn't have anything particular to do so we make a reservation the same day. Luckly we got it. Oh boy, how wrong we were before. The food was excellent, the service was extraordinary and the show, the show was unforgettable. Best desition ever.

8.5/10We really enjoyed our evening! The fado performances an ambience made for a delightful experience. The food was also good, although not what the venue does best. It was a packed house, and while the service was very friendly and professional, it was sometimes difficult to get our server’s attention.

10/10I'm glad I was able to reserve a spot just a couple days before! The food was good, service was great and ambience was just right. I only wish customers would know not to talk during the performances. It might help if the host could explain etiquette and basic info before the music begins. Otherwise, good experience!

10/10Had a perfect evening with my mother at Severa. The Fado show was an amazing experience. The restaurant is located on a historical part of town. We enjoyed walking on the narrow streets of Portugal. Food and service was excellent, plus great wine! I particularly loved the candle light atmosphere which created a magical ambiance. This is a must do while you are in Lisbon.

9/10We ordered 2 couverts, I ordered to statrers as I am finding Portuguese main courses to much.These arrived within minutes of the couverts which I wanted to enjoy.My husband had a steak which we knew would be longer not a problem. We had a lovely time just would have been nice to eat our food together.

10/10We had a fantastic time, completely exceeded expectations. $35 minimum on food which includes the Fado show with four performers singing individually. You have to stay for the finale, I don’t want to give it away:)
