This was our first time seeing Fado in Portugal, and it was wonderful! The food, service, decor was great, and the music just added to the experience. It was our last night in Portugal, and I’m so glad we spent it at A Severa.

The bottle music was great, we got to hear the first to ask and then we left, but the food was excellent as well. The ambience was wonderful and the wait staff was very attentive. Absolutely will do again!

It was my first time in a Fado restaurant listening to live music, loved the atmosphere really cozy with great singers! The service was really good the staff are very friendly and attentive and the food was fenomenal, I would definitely repeat the experience!

Great food, outstanding service, very good singers! Recommended for a cosy night! We were there 6 cousins to celebrate a family occasion and it was very good option!

It’s clearly a touristic restaurant so what! The food is delicious and the Fado was grand. Keep in mind the music starts at 9 and finishes about 11, with pauses here and there. Also you have a minimum of 40 euro consumption.

The staff were super nice and the environment is excellent, with Fado live singing from in 15/20 minutes apart from each other. The food was very tasty as well. Really recommend the experience.

Great food and great Fado. Some reviews had folks saying food was overpriced, but when you consider the cost of the entertainment it was reasonably priced. Unfortunately folks expect everything to be free.

We booked this place before our trip because it was highly recommended and now I recommend it to you. A very good combination to get acquainted with Fado and Portuguese kitchen at the same time! The Fado performance starts from 9pm and the best time to arrive there is around 8:40 just like us, after ordering the dishes, we straightly started enjoying the show, then enjoyed our food during the intervals.

Although recommended, we were inclined not to do a Fado dinner show but our itinerary opened and we didn't have anything particular to do so we make a reservation the same day. Luckly we got it. Oh boy, how wrong we were before. The food was excellent, the service was extraordinary and the show, the show was unforgettable. Best desition ever.

We really enjoyed our evening! The fado performances an ambience made for a delightful experience. The food was also good, although not what the venue does best. It was a packed house, and while the service was very friendly and professional, it was sometimes difficult to get our server’s attention.

We ordered 2 couverts, I ordered to statrers as I am finding Portuguese main courses to much.These arrived within minutes of the couverts which I wanted to enjoy.My husband had a steak which we knew would be longer not a problem. We had a lovely time just would have been nice to eat our food together.
