This was our first time seeing Fado in Portugal, and it was wonderful! The food, service, decor was great, and the music just added to the experience. It was our last night in Portugal, and I’m so glad we spent it at A Severa.

The bottle music was great, we got to hear the first to ask and then we left, but the food was excellent as well. The ambience was wonderful and the wait staff was very attentive. Absolutely will do again!

Nice place, good service, good music. The food leaves something to be desired... Everything is precarious... As for the Fados, they could also sing the "Fados Antigos" .(Old Fados)

It was my first time in a Fado restaurant listening to live music, loved the atmosphere really cozy with great singers! The service was really good the staff are very friendly and attentive and the food was fenomenal, I would definitely repeat the experience!

Fantastic evening of Fado! The meal was excellent— the duck rice ( in a mild mushroom rizotto) was the winner of the evening, but the rack of lamb was a close second. For appetizers the Portuguese sausage was very interesting (some apple and cinnamon in it, the sausage was very soft), and the garlic fried prawns were very good. The crowd at the restaurant was composed of at least 50% Portuguese patrons who were clearly fans of this place and sang along! That is a clear endorsement of this establishment and the Fado presented.

The six of us had a wonderful experience at this restaurant with beautiful fado singers. Great service too. We would have loved to know what they were singing about, but we didn’t understand Portuguese. Definitely recommend this place.

It’s clearly a touristic restaurant so what! The food is delicious and the Fado was grand. Keep in mind the music starts at 9 and finishes about 11, with pauses here and there. Also you have a minimum of 40 euro consumption.

The staff were super nice and the environment is excellent, with Fado live singing from in 15/20 minutes apart from each other. The food was very tasty as well. Really recommend the experience.

Great food and great Fado. Some reviews had folks saying food was overpriced, but when you consider the cost of the entertainment it was reasonably priced. Unfortunately folks expect everything to be free.

Very good food, ample portions and excellent service. Perfomers mostly very good as well, the only minus was the first one, who made the audience sing ”yes, oui, ja” etc. So unpleasant and embarrassing, when people have come to listen fado.
