10/10The staff was so attentive and friendly! We also loved the minimal menu - all the dishes were incredible. We ordered the baby squid, the tuna tartare, and pork cheeks. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in Lisbon!

9.5/10Although small, the restaurant was cozy and definitely beat my expectations. Each dish was amazing and their recommendations did not miss regarding the octopus, autumn nest, pork cheeks, and codfish. Great selection of wines that complemented the food well. The only knock was being rushed out at the restaurant to make way for the next wave of customers. Not unusual for the US, but unusual for Portugal. Definitely the best meal in Lisbon, though, and I would come back here in a second.

10/10This was a wondeful restaurant. It was busy, which clearly speaks to the popularity of the restaurant but it wasn't overwhelming so it made for a lovely dining experience. The servers were very professional and the food was absolulely delicious. We really enjoyed the black sausage (they provided a lot) and the pork cheeks (yum, yum). I hope we are able to return, this was a great place to have an intimate dinner.

10/10The owner was also the chef and waiter; a passion project, and the results show. Incredible, food, and service, in an intimately sized space. An unequivocal must try for anyone visiting Lisbon looking for the best food they can find. Pricing was also very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the product. Easily the most memorable culinary experience during a weeklong trip in Europe, will be talking about this food for a long time.

From the moment I stepped in, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambiance was inviting, the staff was warm and attentive, and the real star of the show - the food - absolutely blew me away! their interpretation of bacalhau superb: a remarkable blend of tradition and innovation.

9/10We wouldn't have found this restaurant without prior research and booking as it's tucked away in the back streets of Lisbon and quite a walk from the front. It was well worth the effort, however. The restaurant is tiny but the food and staff were large in both flavour and service. A great find that we'll recommend to family and friends.

9.5/10After arriving in Lisbon, me and my family were looking for restaurants close to our hotel that could introduce us to the spirit of Portuguese cuisine. We found this well-reviewed but inconspicuous restaurant on TripAdvisor and decided that Petiscos would be an excellent choice. Turns out we were right! Not only were the small and shareable portions ideal to try a variety of delicious dishes, but the composition and flavors absolutely absolutely astonished us. All the dishes were prepared thoughtfully and with a lot of love (ahem, olive oil) and were unique and flavorful. Our favorites were the octopus and the pork cheeks. Don't skip the bread, even if it costs you a little extra! It's excellent to soak up the leftover juices/oil from the previous dish before you move on to the next one. The bread and even the kombucha at this place are self-made! The owners (or so it seemed) were the ones serving the guests. They were incredibly friendly and attentive. So if you're looking for quality food and a welcoming atmosphere, you should not skip this place!!

9.5/10Great find just by our apartment. Excellent small sharing plates. The pork cheeks and squid with garlic/potatoes were very good. The Portuguese creme brushed was lovely and the D Douro red we had was good.

6/10A Venda Lusitana was absolutely overpriced for what is was. All the dishes we got were simply OK. It seems that they advertise to tourists and expats and inflate the prices. For the quality and size of the plates, the price should be 40% lower. Also, the dishes are not very original for a tapas place. Otherwise, the service was lovely; the waitress and waiter were really nice and personable.

10/10We had their signature dishes; octopus, bacalhau and pork chicks. They are all tasty and not too salty. Bacalhau is served with tomatoes and greens which is very refreshing. Don't skip the dessert. The cheese cake flan is light and delicious.

9/10This is definitely not one of the typical Lisbon offers and I mean that in the most positive way. We sampled five dishes from their sharing menu and all were very pleasing, but the cod and pork cheeks were really excellent. Lovely wine and cordial service completed an overall great experience.

10/10Wonderful restaurant away from the hussel of the city. Great ambiance and wonderful dishes to share among our group of eight. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling in Lisbon. Highly advise one to book reservations as the restaurants does not have many tables which is part of the charm of eating here.

9/10This little restaurant had some of the best food on our trip. From pork cheeks in an intense red wine sauce to baked sheep's milk cheese with rosemary and honey, ever dish was delightful. The finish---lemon mousse with lime zest---was spectacular. Don't let the lack of ambience put you off. The food is great!
