8/10The service was 10\10 i have never been to a place with such good waiting stuff that would talk with you and it felt like home in a sense :) The food was good but in my opinion a bit pricey some things are super good some others are not so good in my opinion. The 3 pinchitos were extremely good but the pa amb tomaquet was not good at all. Nevertheless the ambience, the location and the staff make it ª memorable experience!!!

2/10We didn't get to eat here despite booking a table well in advance. We arrived on time and were told that the only 'table' available was a couple of bar stools wedged up against the window outside with a rickety high table. There was a large empty table inside which had presumably set aside for a larger group. We were told if we didn't want the the bar stools we would have to wait until someone else left. To add insult to injury, a table set for 6 outside was then split and given to two parties of three people, one of which turned up after us. After waiting for 10-15 minutes we gave up and found somewhere else to eat where our custom was appreciated and we were treated with some respect. Clearly the priority at Abanic is large groups who will presumably spend more money.

10/10Excellent food and outstanding service. They went far and beyond to avoid cross contaminations for my wife, who has seafood allergy. We will be back!

Hi, I’m not quite sure where to start... The food was tasty and well-prepared, but the portions were more like tapas or appetizer sizes, which made the prices feel too high. For example, the roast beef plate came with hardly any sauce and cost €21 – definitely overpriced in our opinion. As for the atmosphere: it’s a very small place, and the food preparation area is right in the same room as the dining area. Unfortunately, the smell of cooking was quite strong – our clothes smelled heavily afterwards, which our girls really didn’t like.

9.5/10The food was really good and the service too, however I thought it was incredibly expensive for tapas. I was counting on a full dish and not a tapa, for the price. The ambiance is nice but super noisy. But I have to say that every single detail on the food was amazing. Even the mayonnaise was homemade, which makes a huge difference. Overall a really good experience. Just very expensive for the quantity.

6/10The food was ok, however we noticed (unfortunately only after paying and leaving the restaurant) that the Fork discount wasn’t applied. While it is true that we were in a hurry leaving, we still believe it is the restaurant’s responsibility to make sure the reservation and the details around it are applied.

4.5/10We were made to wait over 1 hour for our reservation. There was a big crowd at the restaurant, which has very limited seating space. The servers were nice enough to send out some complimentary sangria while we were waiting outside. And also let us order some snacks. However, we found the food quality to be poor. The prawns were overcooked, the croquettes were bland, and the pork toasties were average. As a result of this, we left after eating out snacks, even though our table was ready by then. There are much better restaurants like Vivo, Paco Mergalo and others in walking distance of this area, which have significantly better food. The ratings for this restaurant are misleading.

Paella with octopus was quite salty, but very tasty (consider I like salty dishes). Ceviche was nice, but too much vinegar. Cod was crispy outside and tender inside - like. It’s not too much space there, but maybe it’s me who still can’t get used to small BCN restaurants. The bar looks great though! Service was nice, with some space for improvement. But the place was very loud and busy, so it’s understandable.

7/10Busy restaurant, food is good. Service is bizarre, feels like the owners have instructed the wait staff to pursue positive reviews above all else. 5 different wait staff serviced our table, two of whom on their first night. They were all great, however it lead to confusion as to what we had or hadn't ordered. Glitch in the Q-code menu meant we somehow ordered an item that was not available at this restaurant- confusion again. At the end of the meal two wait staff handed a card to us and pleaded for a good review, which seemed to more important to them than if we had actually enjoyed the night.

Very nice food, delicious and good portions - we had the seafood paella and lamb shoulder. Excellent service; Roque was friendly and efficient. Small, cozy venue - could have been a little warmer is all. Highly recommend!

2/10I went to this restaurant because of the reviews, but it looks like it was recently bought by Chinese owners. It's a super tiny place with a lot of not-so-nice staff. The girl—maybe a waitress, maybe the owner—was chewing gum like a cow while greeting guests. The menu is only available on the phone, and there was a strong smell coming from the kitchen

4.5/10Despite calling to notify we will be 15min late, restaurant marked us as no show and made it seem like they are doing us a favour after booking for a large table for a birthday dinner. Little space in restaurant with waiters bumping into you all the time. Food was good, ambience not good
